Year was pretty good until I came down with Valley Fever.

Same. 3 more months of meds but the side effects.. Come on.

I'm dealing with the workman's comp crap, because it is possible I got it at work, so the insurance companies are fighting about it now. My symptoms haven't been too bad now that I am on the anti-fungal medicine. Now its mainly fatigue at night and leg cramps; the breathing is back to normal.

You lucked out. I'm in month 3 of meds, but month 4 of being sick.

But yeah, fatigue + side effects from the meds. It's rough. I've never paid attention to what I eat so much just to protect my liver/kidneys. Hospital was a trip.

Getting better. Just bummed that I have to bring cough drops to the movie theater or turn down podcast offers.

Just noticed this year my hairline starting to recede and a bald spot forming in the back of my head. Fun times.

Have had good health and steady work thanks to a job change a couple of years ago so I'm not going to complain too much.

I drive a lot because of my job and I'm really starting to hate this city.

Started off as the worst year of my life ever. No exaggeration. End of September everything changed..and I've been alive 27 years - best year ever for me. Weird how life goes.

9 horrific months and 3 good ones. Yet it was all worth it.

Embrace it. Shave it now. I experienced that 4 years ago. Spent a year trying to find the right hair cut or trying to slick back my hair to hide the spot. One day I woke up and shave it all. Much easier to deal with.
