I don't understand this freaking settling for threes. If there was 30 seconds left, its a different story, but when there is 8 minutes left there is NO REASON to shoot 6-7 consecutive 3 pointers. Good things happen when you drive into the lane, and our team just doesnt want to accept that fact.

Even when they we leading in the 3rd I knew they would lose the game. They were jacking up 3's while the Hawks, the HAWKS, were getting any shot they want, and if they miss, they get the rebound and try again. One sequence I think the Lakers went down and jack up a 3 in three consecutive posessions. Rudy would've been proud.

This teams is made up like that. Name one person besides Kobe, Lamar, and Sometimes Smush that can go drive it in. That's cause all we have are shooters. And not very good ones.

THIS TEAM HAS TO BE THE DUMBEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE..maybe behind the knicks.

I just dont understand. We got that huge lead cause we were attacking the basket. Then we just kept settling for stupid outside shots and look at tthat, the lead just dissapeared. Wasnt till the final minutes is when they started to attack the hoop again.

This team is so freakin dumb.

This team is some of the dumbest. They have no bball iq. Lamar. Enough said about that. SMush (I like to steal) Parker. Kwame (Stone hands) Brown. And a bunch of other crap. I can't even think about everyone else. Have these guys ever heard of heart? that's H-E-A-R-T Heart. No one plays with heart on this team except for a couple. Just collect your paychecks and that's it. This team needs a trade in the worst way.

Not even Phil is saving this mess. Rudy had a better team at the all star break 27-24. Phil .500

What I want to know is why Kobe is shooting so many 3s? His team mates, yes they are stupid, but Kobe you'd think he'd know better. I was really hoping he was over the stupid "shoot 3 pointers with 14 seconds on the clock" thing last year but now he seems to be compensating for the lack of threes early in the season.

I'd prefer more mid-range fade aways to the crap 3s he seems to love these days. Its frustrating. Every time you think Kobe's got a shot he can go to and score with consistently he stops using it. We had the bank shot in 03-04, and then the MJ fade-away this year but he seems to be using it less and less as the season goes on.

Well, it is true that is all we can do. Probably wouldn't mind so much if they actually started making those shots. But look who we got. Lamar isn't a 3 point shooter. Smush definitely isn't a 3 point shooter. George is inconsistent with the three. The same could be said of Cook and Sasha. Get someone to drive it in. Instead of this crap. Hell. People talk about Francis not having any defense. Does our current PG have any either? Exactly. Bring in anybody that can drive and dish to Kobe for once.

I think this is the first team that Phil's coached that has almost no decent three point shooters outside of Cook and Smush. We have no Kerr,Paxon,Armstrong,Fox, or Horry. I'm not sure that Phil can change his coaching scheme to make use of poor shooters who can't drive to the hoop. We need to either post up more with Mihm, once he's healthy, or let Kobe take all the shots.

This team is definitely the dumbest team in the NBA, lost to most of the winnable games...wow.
I don't see the Lakers getting to the playoffs from here on. No D, No energy, No determination.
This loss will definitely kill their fighting spirit, I see an 11 straight loss.

And yes they did too many 3 point shots...again. I dunno why they haven't ever learn.
Maybe because the staff wants them too, but that's just dumb.

good job on getting that done. stop shooting 3's. especially smush.. the guy needs to look to get people involved by driving and dishing.. not just spotting up behind the line.. that's chucky atkins' job.. i thought he was going to be replaced.

smush is just as bad on defense too.. damn. he's a more athletic version of chucky, is all he is.

stop jacking 3's.. get to the freakin line. damn. this is ridiculous.
