I asked in his thread...did not notice any responses....does Hart get invited to the Rising Stars Challenge? I assume BI, Kuzma and Ball will get invites.

DeRozan gets the starting nod in the East over Oladipo, and I don't know that Lowry gets in over Beal except to balance the roster with another PG. I could also see Simmons being stiffed as a rookie for someone like Kemba Walker due to voter inertia.

Out West, I'm leaning KAT over Jokic by a hair, and I'm also trying to find a way to keep Lillard out - PG13 really needs to step up there.

maybe....I just question the voting power behind Toronto this season....seems like everyone is kind of bored of them this season....and that Oladipo narrative is pretty strong and growing in my opinion. It feels like he has taken the underdog proving everyone wrong role on within the media. I think Simmons has been better than Walker....but I get what your saying.

Maybe KAT over Jokic....but if its close, and it adds another team getting a player in, they may go with Jokic. It also feels like everyone in the league has soured a little on KAT....and may be hesitant to give him anything because they think he is playing below potential. PG-13 could easily slip in if he closes the first half strong.

I like your list overall.

Man, I almost broke my tv seeing Ruben Patterson at Kobe's jersey retirement ceremony!

But seriously, 13 straight losses to the Blazers. That has to end this season.

I hope LNJ participates in the dunk contest. Other young guys I'd like to see participate:

Aaron Gordon (to finally get what he's due)
Jaylen Brown
Donovan Mitchell
DSJ
Derrick Jones

Any others come to mind?

"I think" Tatum has a real shot; he's a real 2 way player...

anyone know when they will announce the Rising Stars Challenge rosters? Last year they announced them on January 25th. I assume Ingram, Kuzma and Ball are locks? Would love to see Hart be considered.

Still doing U.S. vs. World? Would rather it be Rookies vs. Sophomores or East vs. West.

Many are complaining that the all star draft won’t be televised, and I originally didn’t see why. But with further thought, it would be fun to watch, kind of like televising a fantasy league draft. I guess that the concern is who will be picked first and who will be picked 8th. I assume they will announce the teams without the draft order.

Has it been confirmed whether Larry will participate in the dunk contest? I saw one tweet saying he got in with Dipo, Smith, and Gordon, but then after that I saw Larry tweet that it was fake news.
