Season Avg. - 23 APG
APG w/o Ball - 22.2 APG

Assist tonight - 23

the (bleep) never gets old

I agree that everyone overhypes Lonzo but he did have a stabilizing effect on the team. Kuzma, Clarkson, KCP offered nothing on offense... only so much he can do in that situation.

sorry....I didn't see it....we were terrible on both sides of the ball when Lonzo was in the game....Walker got by him at will....

Walker gets by everyone at will.. he's a match up nightmare for a longer PG. If those three score at their normal rates... it's a decent game.

They rarely matched up at all, and Walker didn't get by him on at least three possessions I watched. I thought Ball actually did a much more credible job on Walker defensively than KCP (but in fewer possessions, admittedly).

We looked incredible out there with Zo on the floor.

More likely the cops find something on Luke though...

Wait, you're judging a guy who was on limited minutes coming back from injured list.

And DLO.

Guys that did exactly what they paid for

DLO is the exact player this team is missing (when healthy).
He can create for himself and others in the half court.

He would put everyone else in their proper place.
ZO leading transition with DLO as a shooter.
DLO running half court with ZO cutting and shooting.
BI playing with less pressure to carry Offense

I was against the DLO trade (think I still am) but DLO hasn't played this year so he'd have been no help.

The problem is the Magic and Rob did not bring in complimentary talent and that id exactly what many of us were saying this summer. We lost our 3 best scorers (Lou, DLO, Nick) who also happened to be the 3 best shooters.

We won games last year because we would get hot and teams couldn't match. This year, we have no consistent threat-- Kuz is the closest thing and he's a rookie.

How are you so sure he would've got hurt if he was still here

If DLo isn't in Brooklyn, why assume he would be injured?

I don't think that happened. Kcp was his primary. I don't recall a possession where kemba got by ball on a drive. But I may have missed it. But at will? Thought I would have caught that if it happened more often.

You make a good point on the assists

Zo started on MKG. Luke had KCP guarding Kemba the 1st half. That's when he got hot. 2nd half Luke switched Zo on to him.

Yes, people overhype the immeasurable “Lonzo effect”

But Lonzo seemed matched up with MKG most of the time. Thought he looked good for not being 100% on his first night back.
