One of my new year resolutions was to acknowledge when I’m wrong and when others are right more. Thought it would be kind of fun to start a thread where folks can point out something they got wrong (and even an apology to someone who got it right if you like) since we spend so much time fighting to be right. So here goes:

I apologize to MitchdaGawd for fighting him on Luke’s X and O acumen.

There, that felt nice.
If you join in, please keep to the spirit of this please!

I had Malik Monk and Jonathan Isaac ahead of Jayson Tatum in my mock draft. I apologize to Mike ( a t ) LG.

I secretly doubted GT's assessment of BI at the end of last season. Boy was I wrong...he doles out the truth, whether you like it or not...

I wanted Fultz instead of Ball predraft... I don't care if Fultz will be a career 22ppg scorer. Ball is special.

I also wanted DLO over Porzingis.

Yeah I was doubting Tatum due to suggestions of a Tobias Harris/ best case Melo archetype. I, too, apologize to Mike.

I might be wrong about Luke, Rob, & Magic. I'll give them some more time of course.

I feel like I was too harsh on Randle before, too excited about the hiring of Luke before since now I think he's way in over his head, and may have been too rosy in my assessment of Ingram. And count me as another one who looks like he/she whiffed on Monk. I really thought he'd be good NBA shooter right away.

Was MitchdaGawd who was saying he had inside knowledge of hearing Luke on Spectrum and he was very unimpressed with Luke?

Iirc, he worked there and worked where they watched and broke down film, but yeah. Felt it was owed.

Every post so far still has a chance to be righted.

I was wrong, I thought devin ebanks would become Ariza 2.0

I liked Ebanks, too. I even thought Darius Morris had a chance!

I once told a friend in 2014 we'd be in the WCF in 2017. I was the farthest possible thing from correct.

I was wrong on Luke being a good fit for developing a young team.

He's doesn't seem like a smart guy, and that impression is only reinforced by his bad rotations, bad in-game decisions, double standard for PT for different players, lack of in-game adjustments, and his very basic offense and defense that other teams have completely figured out.

He would have been a great coach for another year of tanking. Too bad we don't have our pick.

Ah, then yeah. I too was skeptical of his posts. I owe him an apology too.

Hope this thread gets bumped when Ingram breaks out in a year or two. Would love to see some frustrating posters eat crow. Of course by that time, those posters will say "I always believed."

Lonzo said it best.. If youre not with us now.. dont come back later.

You have plenty of places to do that. Fess up a mistake or move along.

I was wrong when I thought Julius would make good on his statement that he'd make the 6 other teams regret their choice of not picking him.

lost it's introspective tone on Page 1.......start a thread titled "he/she was wrong" and it would break all LG records for page numbers.

You're not very good at this. Let me help you:

"I, adkindo, was completely wrong about Josh Jackson being better than Lonzo Ball. Lonzo is more impactful on offense and defense, makes his teammates better, and is also younger."

It's really not that hard.
