1. Is it possible under the CBA?
2. Would they have to get equal salary back to not get penalized?
3. Would contending teams be willing to give up a late round draft pick for either one of their services?
4. Would it benefit the development of some of our younger players?

What do you guys think? Take a stab at one of these questions.

They would have to take back about $15.5 mil for Lopez and $11.5 mil for KCP.

I imagine all options are on the table for the right return; be it
a combination of future picks and/or disgrunted future star...

We'll see but I do think they will ride out those two..

Wouldn't fit with 2Max. Don't think Cleveland plans to salary dump LeBron just yet. Nor OKC/PG.

Since leaving prison, KCP's been controlled, confident, and effective. Brook's numbers aren't great, he makes too much money for another team to take him, but he's a good dude and is also stealth-valuable to the team. Despite moving like molasses, he seems better defensively than Mozgov (wish I had numbers to back me up) and he'll bury 4 or 5 three-pointers in a game once in a while.

Win as many games as you can with this group. The team's much better with, and funner to root for, with Caldwell-Pope & Lopez than they were with Mozgov & Young.

Unless we could get something decent in return (good player, draft picks, etc) then I say we keep them. KC Prison has been better since he was set free. Lopez looks terrible a lot of the times, but he is still shooting over 30% from 3, and he's a big body who can play a little defense.

Depends if we could get the Nets pick from them. If we could I'd send Lopez their way.

the cavs are not giving up a lottery pick for Lopez, especially with LeBron's future being uncertain.

If we can get expirings and some draft capital for Brook, sure. Would like to see our young bigs get some run. But I doubt there is a market for him. And I’m still holding out hope we can go on a run and fight for the 8 seed. A series against GSW would be very beneficial for us, a la OKC vs us in 2010.

Don’t see a market for either due to contract size. I imagine the front office would jump at the chance to get draft picks for them.

Brook averages 1.4 blocks per game in almost half the minutes of Cousins 1.5

Challenging shots isn’t Brook’s problem, guarding on the perimeter is. Same with Cousins.

he is the live version of slow motion....not my kind of center....I prefer a rim protector....rebounder, rim runner, roller....can hit a 15 to 18 footer.

For someone like Thompson? They would be asking for a pick.

that pick is not going anywhere as long as there is a chance it could return Trae Young
