Big Baller Brand receives an F from Better Business Bureau
Quote: | On its website, the organization says Big Baller Brand's ratings are based on 32 complaints filed against the business, a failure to respond to 12 of those complaints and five complaints that still haven't been resolved. |

not a lawyer....we have several on the board...is this something that could interest an attorney seeking some attention to try to put forward some type of class action suit to get their name in the press? I guess it would depend on the nature of the complaints. |

So someone actually bought a pair of those shoes? I haven't bought a pair of sneakers since a time when people would have assumed that Air Jordan was an airline. So let me ask a question to those of you who are younger, or at least who have kids who are younger -- Are these shoes really selling? |

he kind of has a point with his product and the segment of society he is doing business with....but I assure you the Better Business Bureau is not outdated....depends on the industry. I have clients that would lose substantial amounts of new business if their rating slipped. |

I doubt it, what kid can convince his parents to drop 500 on a pair of shoes. |

There have been reports that Lavar is exaggerating (big shock) sales of BBB. One report estimated that while Lavar claimed he sold 5,000 pairs of shoes of Lonzo Ball's limited-edition signature sneaker, the actual total was probably closer to 300. |

I've heard of that happening on review sites but never the BBB. I have heard complaints that you need to pay for accreditation to get good reviews posted, but have never heard about paying to change an F to an A. Where does your information come from? |

Hard to see much of a brand shelf-life unless BBB becomes known for more than Lonzo making outrageous comments and the product's outrageous price tags. |

Visions of George Jefferson come to mind. George moved on up, Will LaVar?

Maybe the problem is that it is a poorly run company. They do not offer refunds nor exchanges. All sales are final. Orders take anywhere from 6-12 weeks to be delivered and there does not seem to be any structure to the time that orders take to process. I ordered one item and it took a week...friends ordered the same item and it took a few months. Then i ordered another item and it took a couple months while friends who ordered later were getting them first. Having a big mouth is all fine and dandy, but if you want to have a real company and are just going to run it by the seat of your pants and not give a (bleep), blaming everyone else, the online reviews are not going to be kind to you. It is by FAR the worst company I have ever dealed with. |

It's been known for many years to most Small Business owners that BBB is a total scam. |
