They got 0.86 inches of rain in 15 minutes. Luckily my family survived with no damage.

People knew it was coming. Sad for the families but damn California never proactive and preparing for something, always reactive and cleaning up the mess.

It is impossible to realize the scope of this disaster without seeing it. Imagine boulders bigger than a trash truck rolling through your neighborhood. A sea of mud that just seeks the path of least resistance. They aren’t finding bodies, they are finding body parts. What is sad is that there were mandatory evacuations, people just didn’t care.
