Another wonky poll.

Of course he has a chance, like if no one else makes a dunk in time. But it is unlikely since he isn’t really a creative dunker more than he is a powerful dunker.

Better stay in the stands, Larry. I think Lonzo has a better repertoire of dunks

He’s a good in game dunker but I don’t think he’s create enough for the contest

Larry isn't a contest-style dunker. His dunks aren't creative enough.

He'll have some tough opponents like Donovan Mitchell, Derrick Jones Jr and Terrence Ferguson but i'm sure watching Lonzo assists Nance is gonna be fun to watch
A full court lob pass from Lonzo to Nance. But, get this: Nance will be jumping over Zubac in the process...

He seems to do the Statue of Liberty dunk every time. I wonder what else he would try in the dunk contest?

A 1980s windmill.. probably hang his arm in the rim on another. Let's just hope he makes it to the event healthy from here to then

Memphis must have read that and gave the refs the nod.

Is Kobe the only dunk contest winner in Lakers history?

If so, I can definitely see Larry becoming the second winner.

I think Larry is athletic enough to pull something crazy off. Your never going to see dunk contest style dunks in a game, so I don't think that's a great indicator of how well someone would do in a dunk contest. It's in L.A., I think a little creativity and some "wow" factor would get it done for Nance

barring injury he will no doubt be in it, but I doubt he does well because he is an in game over guys dunker, as people have said will be much like the Shannon Brown appearance

Yeah, Kobe's performance was pretty blah in a relative sense. He went against a mediocre to weak field. Finley tried a cartwheel dunk to comedic effects.

I don't see Larry as a creative dunker. Shannon Brown was thought to have a chance and he was horrible when it actually came down to doing creative dunk contest style dunks rather than powerful in-game dunks.
