Ok enough is enough. Watching randle play I was unsure about this guy
but he is beasting. In todays small ball game this guy is a rare matchup
nightmare for the smaller players and his speed gives longer pfs ands cs
fits. Initially I was unsure about his game but randle is obviously a hard
worker and deserves his pay raise. His shot selection around the basket is
suspet to some degree but the guy is still putting the ball in the hole.
I think he deserves to be taken of the trading block permanently as long
as he understands and stays within his role.
Our number 1 options are stilla work in progess and I would hate to see
him in a celtic or any other uniform. Luke needs to develop him into the
team leader role because stands up to wannabe tough guys
Im really happy for him and want to see him in the lakers uni for years to come!
Are you guys ok to see him go? |

I'd like to keep him too but at the right price. However if he's traded I hope we get a good return for him. It's a business. |

Would love to see him go. 6’9” and can’t even shoot a 15 footer. This team needs shooters not sure if you’re aware that the Lakers are the worst shooting team in the league. |

it's nice to have a power forward with some power in the tool box...can't have 12 Reggie Millers |

He’s 6’9”, gets punished by real centers and we have 0 Reggie Millers. |

Randle is one of our only players that bleed purple and gold!!! He dreamt of being here as a kid growing up. We should be happy we have players like that. It shows that the franchise actually means something to them rather than it being a means to an end. BI didn't even know 13 was retired for wilt when we drafted him...
I agree that he has his short comings as a player but he has shown that he puts in the time and effort to improve. It's hard playing in a system that doesn't have a real offensive flow like what we're running. But the man still produces when given the opportunity to do so. Coaching staff just needs to instill confidence in him instead of playing favorites. They're doing what they did to DLO when he was here.. jerking him around back and forth between bench and starting then changing his position and not utilizing his strengths... |

Harrison Barnes scored EASILY on him to send the game to OT yesterday and then Luke gives the ball to him and he gets STRIPPED to end regulation. Oh and he had 7 turnovers. But WE MUST keep him. Lmao |

And Randle stopped Barnes twice in OT where we won the game. Cherrypick much? _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

4 quarters are a given. OT isn't.
But one game shouldn't be the reason to keep or get rid of a player.
So I agree we can't cherry pick. |

I would love to keep him coming off the bench...but I doubt he accepts that role long term, and I doubt we would be willing to pay him for that type of role (11-14 million ish).
To me it comes down to which PF are we building around, Kuz or Randle? It's not a decision I'd have to think much about. |

We didn't even keep Shaq - and he was still MVP caliber. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

Randle is not worth more than maybe $5-8 million a year. He's not very good. |

Jullius is a 15+ pts, 10+ rebs guy who can handle the ball and defend the wing.
That's pretty darn good.
Top 10 rebounder every year if you give him 30 mins guaranteed.
The comp is Enes Kanter and he makes 18 mil a year. I think Randle gets somewhere between 15-18 mil offers.... closer to 18.
Someone's gonna pay him and he deserves it too. _________________ "He may say it's not you, it's him.... but it's really you." |

I would rather have JR than Kanter. JR is a better defender and passer. |

Dude is solid on offense, especially when you run plays for him and have Lonzo feed him.
My worries about him are on defense. He should be solid, but we just seem to give up so many points when he is in there. Not always, seems like he is off and on. Not sure what the conditions are, but seems like many of the times when we get our butts handed to us, he is in there. _________________ Never argue with stupid people! He's going to get more than that. Look I'm in the mood to argue with you because It got me in a lot of trouble today, and my family thinks I should not post here anymore do to my bad behavior. |

I mean you have to try and keep him...
but if the decision is between Randle and Lebron... it's not much of a decision tbh.
The tough part is you can't be 100% on UFAs... so you have to hedge your bets and keep Randle imo. But you might lose him for nothing.
Lakers are between a rock and a hard spot right now. _________________ "He may say it's not you, it's him.... but it's really you." |

between ingram, kuzma and randle, randle is the odd man out. he's the most expensive and likely the one with the least untapped potential. |
