Well, I wasn't specifically thinking about CA, but this site lists the average CA salary at $58K. https://www.indeed.com/salaries/Firefighter-Salaries,-California |
Back in my previous life, I used to do mortgages and had some firefighters as clients. Those indeed salary estimates are garbage (across the board imo). California FF in any metro area make WAY, WAY more than 58K. There's a reason why any job opening for a FF usually has 100s if not 1000s of applicants.
I'm not arguing whether or not the salary is deserved but I don't think the public at large realizes how much government jobs can potentially pay. Don't get me started on Irvine police...

What part do you disagree with? It’s not arguable lol. These people are caught on video having a biased and some are wishing the news outlet would go back to just reporting. For the people that aren’t completely brainwashed it’s a great video to show how corrupt our media is. |

At the end of the day, Veritas has only themselves to blame for their lack of credibility. They have shown the ability to do a type of partisan/agenda driven investigative journalism that is nearly non-existent today. The mistake they made was in an effort to make a splash, they edited their work in a way that had responses and statements that were out of context to a degree. This allowed the left and mainstream media to make the point that their work can not be fully trusted....and they have a point to a degree. |

The workers at CNN agreed to wanting the network to go back to just reporting straight news vs all these panels of the likes of Brendon or Clapper known liers that were caught in massive scam to the Americans and we should think they are legit network. It’s not just CNN, Fox and others do it as well and Varitas like it or not caught them red handed. They talked about covering white shooters vs Minorities because it sells more. They brought up making stories up to push a agenda. Some claims they are sick of Trump coverage and if they did the same investigation on other candidates or themselves it would prove vary problematic. It’s obvious that these massive news outlets are driving narrative vs just straight facts. Project varitas also has a whistle blower about google and other giants that try and completely hide these things and count on the American people to not even question them.
Another subject, it’s a paradigm shift when you start realizing most of these big corporations and new programs etc are massive money makers to vary little amount of people. Most think is a great cause but usually they are money makers and don’t really add up. CNN is more interested in driving narratives and following money stories because clicks equal money therefore it’s obvious the news isn’t news anymore. Lots of people are starting to understand this. Same with NBA and players being silenced by China. To much money to lose. Sad but true. Also Google, Facebook, YouTube are silencing independent news agencies or different views by banning them do to them being a massive threat to their narrative or pocket. Example FB will take down a negative post on flu shots and post positive ones. Seems like very China like. In fact Zuckerberg stop working with the US Military and was helping China. |

I know a firefighter and his pay is well north of 100k. Speaking of Irvine cops I saw one a few weeks ago give a jaywalking ticket. I was about to do the same before I saw that and decided to take the crosswalk.

Wouldn't it be better to actually state some point of disagreement instead of doing the whole minion mob to attack the person that posted? The responses have been something about a cuck....something about the last time the poster dared to disagree the political thread warlord punished him/her....and something about a jackass. |

Of course it would. But when a topic begins with using James O'keefe, as "proof", as though he is the gold standard when he's been shown to manipulate his videos with selective editing, and without a word from the the OP except that the video is proof, what do you expect?
