Thanks for the clips kobe_luver and MJST. Stand up guy.

Is he here to back up Ingram in Brewer's spot? I doubt he can stay with SF's the way Brewer can on defense.

Insurance if someone bites on Randle/Deng? ( OK moving on..)

Or do we simply need to test out another target when we need a catch-and-shoot 3 considering only Kuzma and Ingram can occasionally sink those from our front court roster these days?

I saw this on Twitter. Even GT/LFR doesn’t know anything about him lol. So yeah OK I guess, welcome (?). *shrug*

really? Hayes was fairly popular in college....was a Sophomore on the Frank Kaminsky and Sam Dekker Wisconsin team that knocked off the dominant KAT/Booker UK team in the Final Four...then lost in the championship game against the Okafor/Winslow Duke team....he was very solid his Junior and Senior seasons...but never really lived up to expectations.

Still have no idea why we need another Power Forward

I’m sure he’s heard of him but he tweeted that he would need to watch some game footage of him to understand his game and how he would fit in with the Lakers.

Could this signing be a sign that Kuzma is going to miss significant time?

(sorry if I missed his latest injury update).

Anyway, about Nigel - Brandon Bass-ish?

Kuz is expecting to play tonight. KCP and Lonzo are the only ones confirmed out tonight.

Thanks for update TDRock

Then I have no idea why we signed another PF. He can shoot, but I'm not sure where he's going to get the minutes to ever get a chance to do it.

Unless of course a trade of JR is imminent. You heard it here first!

He's actually a 6'7" undersized PF. & with the bunch of PF's we already have
he has no chance at PT with our NBA team.

With our revolving door of injured players this season I'm sure he will get his chance.

Seems like we switch everything anyway. See plenty times where KCP, Hart, Lonzo are guarding bigger players.

The way I see it - if this dude can continue to go 44% from beyond the arc, he maybe a keeper.

I'd be curious to see if he can hit 3's on demand no matter which uniform he's wearing. When it comes to the Lakers that would be a rare talent.

Great game.
No joke, but he's undefeated at Staples: college and pro career.

Hope Hayes gets some minutes soon, on the face of it he looks intriguing. He's got decent size, can guard the perimeter and has a pretty well rounded game on offense.

Our scouting department's been doing so well lately finding under the radar gems like Kuz, Hart, Nwaba and Caruso that I really want to see what Hayes has to offer. He has to be better than Deng surely

Is Hayes able to be put on a 2 way contract? Unsure if he'd even sign it, but I really like the look of him as a potential rotation (3rd man) 4/3 and a 4 with Kuzma at the 3.

Excited to see him more. Hope he catches on with us. Seems to be smart and have a solid understanding of the game. Shot looks pretty solid too, though we'll see how he and it translates.

Interesting that they played him at the three, though that might've just been a byproduct of the coaches wanting to get time for both Zu and Bryant.

I think they could just dump GPII for him.

Nigel not coming back. Looks like it was insurance for injuries to forwards.
