Portland is now two games ahead of Cleveland and it could be two and a half tonight. Indiana passed Cleveland last night. The Pelicans are now tied with Cleveland. Our pick is looking better by the day. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Lets go pick #15!!!
That'd be the dream. Give up 12 to get back 15.
Would finally be redemption for that ever so infamous Nash trade |

I think OKC will end up with a better than Cleveland if the big 3 stay healthy. Minnesota is missing Butler so they are a wild card in passing Cleve. Pelicans don't have Cousins, Washington doesn't have Wall, Spurs don't have KL. Sixers and Utah are healthy. A lot will depend on injuries down the stretch. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Tank Lite Monday: Less Calories, Same Great Taste
Spurs @ Rockets - The Kobe Fan in me kinda wants to see the Spurs out of the playoffs, but if it was between OKC and SA making the playoffs, I'd still prefer SA. And hey, Kawhi's gotta get ready for his Laker audition
SAC @ OKC - Can we hurry up and get to the rough part of Thunder's schedule?
Heat @ The Evan Turner & Myers Leonard Show - Go Portland. Heat play the Lakers on Friday looking for revenge, so make it a triple-overtime affair to tire them out while you're at it |

I want to say Spurs remaining schedule has only two teams that are not playoff teams. |

And I heard KL could come back later this week. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

@AdamMKaufman
So, #Celtics:
Kyrie Irving (left knee soreness) & Al Horford (illness): Day-to-day
Marcus Smart (torn tendon, right thumb) & Jaylen Brown (concussion): Out indefinitely
Gordon Hayward (ankle): Playing with our emotions
Daniel Theis (torn meniscus, left knee): Done for season _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

I'm going with OKC on this one. They're going to win anyway against the TanKings and it will knock the Cavs down another place.
Also, Bucks @ Grizz - Bucks aren't playing well but are still only three games back on the Cavs. It's a good thing they built a nice cushion or maybe just fortunate the Pistons torpedoed their team by adding Blake. Since that 4-0 start since he was traded, they're (3-10). _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

They should just let him sit no need to try and make something happen. They will not beat GS or Houston |

Absolute and total brutality. If Leonard doesn’t come back this week or doesn’t come back at 100% health, this team ain’t making the playoffs. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

Wow seriously only Kings and Lakers as non contending teams.
And we've been good so only the kings.
They really may miss the playoffs |

Three point shooting
OKC
14 - 31
Sacramento
10 - 30
...and OKC hasn't been able to pull away from them. |

OKC just passed Cleveland in the standings. Cleveland now has the 8th best record in the league tied with the Pelicans. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Tuesday's "Make-up for Monday's Lack of Tank Games" Tank Games
3 big ones for finalizing that 10-12 range:
Pistons @ Jazz, Hornets @ Pelicans: with the double benefit of Utah & New Orleans surpassing Cleveland
Of course, Nuggets @ Lakers. Now, an argument could be made that Denver should win to gain ground on Cleveland, but we should all be well past rooting for our team to lose games. Also, F**K Jamal Murray and his coach.
--- The Rest ---
Minny @ Wiz, Indy @ Philly: Ugh, a lose-lose situation. All teams are capable of catching Cleveland... so I'll root AGAINST the teams with the easier remaining schedules (I believe Philly has a cakewalk the rest of the way, so go Pacers
CLE @ PHX, OKC @ ATL: if either team loses to one of those tankers, First Take will be talking about it for days. Just don't see it happening.
Plus a few other games that involve the tankiest tanks of tanks that ever tanked that don't really affect L.A at this point. |
