It’s because Westbrook never gives him the ball. Most of the time offensively, you don’t even know he’s here... |

Another blah tank day, aside from some jostling in the west with NO, POR, MIN & LAC in action. Getting ready to ignore the inevitable hot takes about "IS OKC FOR REAL NOW?! They beat a streaking Toronto team with the toughest home court advantage!"
Monday promises to be a "can't get any work done after 4pm" day, here's hoping Turner rests his ankle more (ya know, for a strong playoff push, right? Who cares about a regular season game against the Lakers?) |

This is good for us to stay ahead of them in the standings.

MRI results revealed chronic tendinitis with left Achilles of Charlotte Hornets forward Nic Batum, league sources tell ESPN. Wow, I thought this would be a schedule loss for them. Three games in 4 nights, second of a b2b, and on the road against a desperate opponent that really needed it.
The Blazers are locked in right now. |

Clippers are 6 games up on us but are on a 3 game losing streak and have an even tougher 4 game road trip this week. Our strength of remaining schedule is getting weaker and theirs is getting stronger. We likely won't overtake them at this point but it would be great to close that gap as much as possible to finish the season. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. PG-13 averages 17 field goal attempts per game with OKC....he averaged 18 per game his last 2 seasons with the Pacers....he takes more shots than Steph Curry, and only 1 or 2 less than guys like Harden, Lebron, Durant, Giannis, AD.
Nobody on the Lakers averages more than 13 field goal attempts per game (IT takes the most - 13.4). The narrative that PG-13's offense is so diminished because of Westbrook is total BS, and is usually an indirect attempt to diminish Westbrook himself. PG-13's production in OKC is right in line with his better years in Indy. |

Completely childish of me but I so want the final game against the Clips to be for position in the standings. Unlikely they can make up six games in the final thirteen but I can dream!
Although meaningless in the big picture I would love to see the Lakers get a win and pass the Clips. |

I’ll take 38 or 39 wins on the morning of April 11...then winning against the clippers to officially eliminate them from playoff contention. Call me immature |

The Bulls tank is even more absurd than Cuban’s comments about Mavs best interest to lose. Chicago is regularly holding out top players and their lineups are full |

What do you guys thing that we will actually do with the Cavs pick,
1. Use it to draft a player
2. Trade it
I actually think that this pick will not be on our roster next season. I think that it will be used in some form as a trade chip. We have enough youth. |

I would prefer to keep it. Add another quality piece to the puzzle as part of the patient rebuild and one max added.
I do realize this goes completely out the window if they are able to sign 2 max. A win now mode likely sends the pick out in order to move Deng.
Who knows? Lots of options and paths they can take. Good chance there will a roster revamp and several players lost/replaced. May need a cheap player to fill the bench. |

Pretty fluid, but imo it’s 80% trade, 20% draft a player.
I see it as:
1 Max FA, re-sign Randle, draft player
Or
2 Max FA, re-sign Randle, trade pick (+ another pick) with Deng.

It's a win-win.
If we trade the Cavs pick, we're likely getting PG13/LBJ/Jules.
If we don't, we let our scouting department get to work. They've been one of the best with later 1st rounders. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |
