I went to Tankathon last week, when Spurs were 10th in the West. Did one spin and they got pick #2, selecting Luka freaking Doncic, can you imagine that? I quit... _________________ .... |

If we trade the Cavs pick, we're likely getting PG13/LBJ/Jules.
If we don't, we let our scouting department get to work. They've been one of the best with later 1st rounders. |
I won't use the word "prefer", but I'd be 100% ok with no LBJ, a quality young player in that 22-25 range, and no stretch/trade of Deng, with Julius coming back and enough space for 2019. July 1st can't come soon enough. |

Well the nuggets lost. That's one good thing about tonight. Hopefully the Pistons can lose too. |

Draymond Green got hurt in the second quarter a knee to the groin. The sad thing is the Spurs are still struggling to beat them. I don't think the Warriors are going to make it back to the finals this year. I think it's the Rockets year to get to the finals. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

OKC seems to be getting all the breaks lately. Kyrie and Jalen Brown are out tonight.

PG doesn't look like a max player tonight. He looks like a good player, but he should be exerting his will on this diluted Boston team and he just seems like another player out there. |

I don't care if OKC wins regular season games. The bright side is they're staying ahead of Cleveland in the standings. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Wow, I changed the channel when it was Adams at the line with 1:20 left or so...didn't think celtics would win. Did they cheat? |

Melo choked two FT's in the clutch, and I'm still hoping for OKC's draw to be tough enough in the first round that they lose. |

For our pick, 11th or 12th is basically the same. Philly would likely get the same guy with both picks.
For the Cavs pick, does it really matter if the pick is 22 or 24 or 26? At that point in the Draft, every team has different guys on their board. I can see 18 being intriguing though but it will probably not happen. |

For trade purposes it probably has more value. |

Games to watch 3/21
Toronto at Cleveland. Toronto. Note: Tor played last night @ Orlando
Memphis at Philly. Philly
Charlotte at Brooklyn. Brooklyn
NY at Miami. Miami
Denver at Chicago.
Clippers at Milwaukee. Milwuakee
Indiana at NO. Both teams have same record.
Wash at SA. Both teams have same amount of losses.
* Yesterday Detroit passed us in the standings. We are still 1.5 games ahead of Charlotte. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Pistons had two straight games against tankers (the Suns game being without Booker & Warren). Two of their next 5 are against tankers (Knicks & Bulls) but let's hope the Rockets spank the will to win out of them in their next game.
Magic numbers for Pistons & Hornets to be eliminated from the playoffs are 6 & 5 respectively, wish the Heat & Bucks would hurry up & clinch already:

no kidding....just dumb...now they are tied for 3rd in lottery. They desperately need a top 3 pick in this draft. Hoping NY and Chicago can jump in front of Brooklyn in the lottery diminishing the value of Brooklyn's (Cav's) pick. |

There's an outside shot that the Cavs end up with the 17th pick...The 5-8 seeded West playoff teams are between 0.5 -1.5 GB of the Cavs and the Cavs are only 1.5 games ahead of the 6th seeded Sixers in the East. It's possible (and not entirely unlikely) that the Cavs only end up with a better record than the Heat and Bucks.
Wouldn't it be wild if after all these years fretting over potentially losing a #4 pick and then possibly losing a #1 pick, the Lakers end up losing the 12th pick while receiving the 17th pick? |
