| Lets say our summer consists of us resigning IT for a year. Julius to an extension and Paul George. How competitive is that next year? |

Best case scenario is IT happy with 6-7th man role and signing for discount to win a title. Sign PG and LBJ in offseason. Retain Randle.

IT, ENNIS, HART, KUZMA, ZUBAC bench.

It's really not IMO.
Lebron has maybe 2 years left before he inevitably takes a turn for the worse. You think our young core will be in championship form by then?
I've always felt he never made sense for this team. That's without even taking his style of play into account.
I'd much rather wait a year and make a run at one of the younger guys to give us a much longer window of opportunity.
Not to mention it will cost us significant assets to be able to resign Randle if we go the 2 max route.
I would prefer 1year IT, PG, Randle, our 1st round pick, plus Brook on a midlevel. |

Re-sign Randle
Re-sign IT for 2 years with 3rd team optional cause I think IT will shine next year and whoever gets him on a good deal before that resurgence will be one happy customer. We need steals like that. Worst case, he sustains a Clarkson level type of play but I dont see it happening. |

This team is really coming together, sucks losing Hart, but it forces It and Kuz to step it up...
If bringing in two makes players means losing Julius, then I am fine with only one...
