Nothing's gonna change...it's the same story every time. America prioritizes guns over dead children every time.

Despite promises to tighten controls on “bump stocks”, a device used by the Las Vegas shooter to mimic the action of an automatic rifle, there has been no legislation yet from Congress.

The only gun-related legislation passed since then has been a law giving gun owners who hold a so-called concealed carry licence permission to conceal a handgun in other states – a big win for the NRA.

Any remnants of a guns debate ended on a cold December day in 2012 (and it was on life support then). Once White America decided that not even 20 beautiful innocent white 6 year olds being slaughtered in their classrooms mattered more than their precious guns, that was it. It was a wrap. We can blame the politicians all day long, but the ruling class has the government they want and if they wanted something different they would have it.

America is the number one arms dealer in the world. So the military industrial complex wont let it happen.

Shootings here, the drug wars in mexico, the middle east wars and mass genocide in Africa; guns make to much money to let something like blood get in the way.

The Arms industry- the biggest exporters are United States, Russia, China, Germany and France, and the biggest importers were India, Saudi Arabia, China, the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan.

We would need to some how get all these countires to stop producing or purchasing them depending if youre a demand or supply side econ guy.

No, never. We need more. How else will this ever change?

More thoughts. More prayers. More guns for the kids. More guns for the teachers. Janitorial staff loaded. Even crossing guards. Lunch Lady Doris has a glock under her apron.

29 school shootings so far this year.

Just a reminder, it's only mid-February.

Just a reminder of what President Putin is all about

Trump Signs Bill Revoking Obama-Era Gun Checks for People With Mental Illnesses

February 2017
Quote:
Both the House and Senate last week passed the new bill, H.J. Res 40, revoking the Obama-era regulation.

Trump signed the bill into law without a photo op or fanfare. The president welcomed cameras into the oval office Tuesday for the signing of other executive orders and bills. News that the president signed the bill was tucked at the bottom of a White House email alerting press to other legislation signed by the president.

The gall for him to now say that he wants to tackle mental illness/guns...when he stripped away one measure last year.

I've given thought to the mental health issue. How do you combat it? How do you detect and treat a illness that has no physical symptoms? You can treat a cough, measles, poxes, they show themselves. How do you detect mental illness?

The videos inside the school are like punch square in the nuts. Hard to take and hearing/seeing the panic in the school and knowing that in 2-3 days, this will all but be forgotten is even worse.

There was a stat yesterday, there have been 18 school shootings in the US this year, and there have been 18 school shootings in every other country in the last 20 years. That's more than just a mental health issue, that's more than just lax gun laws. What we are witnessing is horrific. Major changes need to be made to help curb the violence we deal with on a daily basis.

So a leader of a white nationalist group says this kid was a member and participated in paramilitary drills

When will president Trump issue the words RADICAL WHITE NATIONALIST TERRORISM? He can’t say it, and unless he will, the problem will not be solved!

Is it wrong to suggest the parent(s) be somehow held accountable for things like this? I mean the shooter IS 19, but obviously, the parents had something to do with this.

I, myself, as a parent would feel awful if I knew I fathered a muderous sack of shtt loser like this.

'I don't want your condolences, you piece of s***' - Student slams Trump over gun control after 17 killed at Florida school

"Please, this is the 18th one this year. That's unacceptable. We're children. You guys are the adults," David Hogg said during an interview on CNN.

"You need to take some action and play a role. Work together, come over your politics and get something done."

The NRA gave $30 million to Trump's campaign. They are also being investigated for funneling Russian money into U.S. politics - which is illegal.

Also, Trump hosted Wayne LaPierre at a White House Christmas party on the anniversary of Sandy Hook.

Republicans are evil. Vote them out. That's the only way things might change.

Trump responses to murder by Race/Religion of murderer (or alleged murderer)

Black (Central Park 5): "Let our politicians give back our police department's power to keep us safe. Unshackle them from the constant chant of 'police brutality' "

Muslim (SB shooting): "Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on"

Hispanic (drunk driver kills Colts' Jackson): "So disgraceful that a person illegally in our country killed @Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson. This is just one of many such preventable tragedies. We must get the Dems to get tough on the Border, and with illegal immigration, FAST!"

White (58 killed in Las Vegas shooting):“Look, we have a tragedy. What happened is, in many ways, a miracle. The police department, they’ve done such an incredible job."
“There is currently an open and ongoing law enforcement investigation. A motive is yet to be determined. And it would be premature for us to discuss policy when we don't fully know all the facts, or what took place last night.”

White (17 dead, multiple injured; community is 84% white): "My prayers and condolences to the families of the victims of the terrible Florida shooting. No child, teacher or anyone else should ever feel unsafe in an American school."

Not sure where the dad is in the picture, but according to news sources, his mom passed away a few months ago from pneumonia and he was living with family friends. Also the story stated he and his biological brother were both adopted.
