Name a high volume 3pt shooting C that averages 10rpg.

DeMarcus Cousins.

The fact that it's just 1 guy, says a lot to me.

Kind of a rigged question. Only 9 centers average 10+ rebounds per game and only 2 play under 31 minutes.

I thought the same when said, especially since there are only 11 players in entire league to avg 10+ reb...

The offensive spacing of a Randle-Lopez pairing can only really be at a tolerable level if Lopez spends most of his time behind the arc trying to put up volume from there. Like it or not, that's just the reality.

You can create enough spacing if the players can just hit their shots from the elbow, and both Randle and Lopez can do that. The reality is that we have decades of NBA basketball to prove this.

Lonzo sometimes gets more rebounds than 3 pointers made.

Perhaps the Lakers should have them swap positions then...

Or perhaps ZO and LO should STOP attempting 3ponits after they miss two in a row...

2-pointers are higher percentage shots anyway, they are just lazy, I don't care if they are "open"..

I have an issue with the premise of the rebounding of a C, especially when Lopez is shooting 3s and the Lakers don't really have a rebounding issue.

If the argument is over +2 or +3rpg at center, which isn't even the issue with the team as opposed to say, transition defense, defensive communication, proper closeouts... then we're addressing Laker problems in a very miniscule way.

As someone that has casually stat-tracked team statistics throughout the season, this thread is frustrating. Prior to Zo's injury, there was a time when the Lakers were Top 4 in offensive rebounding and Top 3 in defensive rebounding.

So, how is +2 or +3 rebounding going to solve +25 to +35 points to the opponent, which is has been the biggest issue with the team?
