David Fizdale has eyes on Lakers coaching job

Absurd...our offense is excellent...our defense is so much better...the kids are developing...and we're winning with the youngest roster producing...what has Fizdale ever done? LeBron can play on pluto if Fizdale is a requirement.

I’ll take Lebron in a second if he won’t be LeGM too. When he went to Miami Riley said Spoelstra is the coach and that was that. Magic would need to do the same for Luke. The dysfunction is obvious in Cleveland and Lebrons obsession with power is the reason. I know, he’s the greatest player in the world but letting him pick the coach is a horrible way to run a team.

I’ve warmed to Luke as well. The constant turnover and change isn’t a characteristic of a stable organization. If Lebron doesn’t want to come here without Fizdale , oh well guess no Lebron

Well I'm sure Mrs. Fizdale would love Los Angeles but yeah I don't see that either.

If the Raptors want to move on from Dwayne Casey he has a better shot there plus Mrs. Fizdale's family lives in Toronto.

I want LeBron, but if he demands the FO to replace Luke with Fizdale before he signs, I say let him walk. They would do well to sell Luke instead of just getting rid of him because LeBron demands it. Appeasing one of his demands from the get-go, even before he's officially on the team? That sets the precedent. You're telling him from the very beginning that you'll ask, 'how high?' if he tells you to jump.

This report, much like the original one from a few months back, is probably of a speculative nature, if anything. PHX won't be a playoff team, so they'll be able to pursue Fizdale as soon as the regular season ends. I highly doubt he tells them he's not interested if they pursue him, but we'll see.

Getting rid of Luke after the nice job he has done this year would make the FO look like amateur hour. LeBron can take his Machiavellian crap some place else. We don't want you or Fizdale and his ugly glasses.
