I agree with 4x NBA champ John Salley on his list of top all time players. I agree that Lebron James and Michael Jordan should not be in the top five all time players. I would put many players above the corporate age of basketball with no hand checking with Lebron and Jordan.

Finally someone who dares to put Kareem as the GOAT. But ... as much as I dislike MJ, he just can't be lower ranked than Stockton and Dr.J.

What a Silley argument

I'm all for players ranking others ahead of Jordan. But having Jordan at #13 is just crazy. Then the two guys you put ahead of him lost to him in the finals 2 years in a row!

Stockton shot better from distance and of course passed better than MJ. He was as good at stealing even though he was a much smaller man.

I think Jordan was better but if he and Mailman won a couple championships it wouldn't be as absurd as it sounds.

Jordan had a far superior team around him. Don't believe the Space Jam hype...

Wow, when I came in first there was only Top 15, but now with top 20 it's getting better, Duncan is 20, 4 places behind Allen freaking Iverson, that's amazing...

A lot of salt in his flavor. You can argue Kareem could be number 1 but Jordan at 10😂

I like it. My list would look different, but nobody's list is right and he doesn't follow the crowd.

Can always make an argument for his top3. I think after his top 3, he took a crack break.

Everyone has personal favorites from whatever era they watch. I think who you beat and how you beat them counts. I also think about building a team and how those players would be in their prime.

they didnt lose to jordan. they lost to jordan, pippen and ho grant, or jordan pippen, rodman, kukoc.

Salley is saying Jordan had better teammates than those guys.

Wow. The order of greats keep changing. A few opinions sway the list? To be nice, I don't agree with the list AT ALL. You have MJ outside the top 5 and players like King, Malone, Stockton, AI, etc. ahead of Duncan. This shouldn't be in Lakers Lounge anyway...
