Spurs looked like an old team even when they were up double digits in the fourth. I was just hoping the Lakers could string together some quick hits on offense while playing solid defense and they'd have a chance at the end. Fortunately Wear was ready to play to pick up the slack because Kuzma gave the Lakers nothing at the 3 spot. Deng would've been an improvement. |

That's why the little guy has value. |
the comeback happened because Luke set him, and our defense began to get stops....(and our guys begin to hit shots)....but that comeback does not happen if Luke leaves IT out there |
I respect Luke for doing it. I've said that he should be used strategically in the fourth and Luke did that. |
I guess....I just see a guy that gives up as much or more than he scores....we were down 12 with less than 7 minutes to go, then we immediately go on a 27-11 run to close the game. His defense and TO's likely gave the Spurs more than the 21 he scored. |
Isaiah was bad tonight... and he still scored 21. My contention has been that you use him to get ahead of teams and then use Hart to lock down the win. All I care about is if the team wins... don't care how we get there.
Luke left Randle/Zo out way too long... but I'm glad we pulled it out.
It also really hurt to have Zo in foul trouble all night... Zo really helps cover his ass... Amazing teammate. |
That's how Boston covered for ITs poor D with good team D...and our best team defender was as you point out in foul trouble |

Ok to be fair...spurs have been struggling and are injured
Let's see how we do vs the blazers who have had our number |
That is great win. When one of our star down. And we are a young team. Got to love Lakers fan . The glass always half empty. Clueless |

The team is on absolute fire right now.
I'll be whipping my back with a crow bar for the Lonzo slander during the early season.
Really impressive that we can win such a game, after being down 17, being it the last game of a road trip and against a veteran team.
Granted, no KL nor LA but let's face it, we had literally no players in the bench and were reduced to a 8 men rotation.
Chemistry is off the roof.
Listen guys, i don't care about 2 max deals anymore. Priority to Randle above anything else. It's pretty clear he will be in all star consideration from now on. |

Idk I still think our injuries are harder to overcome considering how we have literally no one but G League players on the bench. |

I stopped watching in the 3rd...started watching again about midway in 4th.,,they just got on fire finally. Their D stepped up and Lonzo went UCLA Lonzo upside the spurs with huge 3s. Randle was a stud in the run with huge FTs and buckets too
They LOOKED like a playoff team those last 5 minutes and was incredibly satisfying.
I am so watching the parts I missed later on the replay |
Wow, it just looked like we just weren't on their level and no matter how hard we tried we could get close cause the spurs were playing smart the whole time. I was just getting too pissed. I don't even care I mssed it, I'm just happy we won. Thank god for the highlights we get here. Appreciate LG bigtime |

We should be finding creative ways to use him instead of writing him off as trash defensively and giving him to someone else. Because I promise you if we don't, someone we don't like will. |

You can't just keep harping on his defense because it's a given that he'll be a matchup disadvantage unless he somehow finds a way to grow like half a foot taller. His offense was pretty good and his TOs weren't the boneheaded ones like the team was committing most of the game. The team just has to learn to always help him out on defense and let him do his thing on offense when he's on. There's really no other way to play the guy.
Tonight was like the perfect team to hide him on defense against an older, slower Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili. But those two vets are still Popovich-coached players and very smart and they will find a way to exploit their opponent when given the chance. IT pretty much played defense as well as he could, which isn't much. But at least he wasn't at Ennis level useless tonight.
