I'm beginning to think if we won out the rest of the way that it might not be enough to get the 8th seed. The West is on fire right now.

But still loving the progress and our future.

it is nearly impossible....our goal should be getting to 42 wins....then we are actually a winning team again.

Yep that would be amazing... I'm just going to enjoy the ride and if some fluke happens... so much the better.

20 games left, 7 games back of the last playoff spot, long shot but this team is definitely improving.

Noted - but it does help to have Lonzo with him, no?

sure....I just hear a lot of people give Stevens praise for covering up for IT on defense....but the numbers suggest his schemes were not as great as claimed in that area.....don't get me wrong, think he is a great coach

If they somehow go 15-5 test of way...43-39 was the record I predicted they would have in preseason. I thought that would be enough for 8th seed though and I don't think that will be. But I'd take it nonetheless!

I personally think NBA teams need to bring in some stylist for these guys....white guys, black guys, Asian guys, etc.....seems like all of their hair has become a mess....or maybe I am just getting old.

Whenever I work NBA stuff (yeah I do), it's for the sideline folks not the players. But I'd be happy to bring my clippers with me for some of these guys lol

(but this was just random lint in the air, not his hair... it was almost like someone hit him with a towel during his interview or something...)

Coach Pop coaching Randle up could be scary

I don’t want to see him leave anymore. He has made me a believer.

Wow, I’m happy to see that. Julius is going to be great and I really think he wants it. Tonight was great to see us going to him and seeing him deliver in the 4th.

Incidentally, Lonzo Ball, who supposedly can't shoot, just raised his season 3 pt shooting stat to 33.6% if I'm not mistaken. That's getting into the range where it's no longer a weakness even to the vacuous "Lonzo's a bust" crowd. Truth is, he's shooting 43% from 3 since early December.

I thought we were done after that 5 point swing at the end of the 3rd. Great job Lakers.

Of course, you posted this while the Lakers were getting spanked.

Yes. The Lakers DID show themselves against a real team. Kicked the Spurs butts in Q4.

I hope you have your answer.

BTW, after Lonzo hit his 6th three to go up 112-109, KCP then steals the ball. But did any of you catch the double dribble? LOL! Since the ref didn't call it, I thought maybe he handed it off to Randle, who quickly gave it back to him. But after seeing the replay over and over, it was a clear double dribble that nobody caught. Don't matter, we deserved that win.
