Any basketball expert who can explain why that was a jumpball? LMFAO.

Erroneous buzzer = jump ball? Is that how they rule erroneous buzzers?

Can you imagine if that bull crap ever happened in a Finals game?

These refs would get killed in the parking lot.

Maybe I lost track cuz of how angry I was, but I only remember two bad plays from IT at the end. The quick trigger 3 and the indecision inside that led to an airball and missed Zo 3 to beat the shot block off the offensive rebound.

It's probably not the right rule. Refs probably messed up.

If it were the correct rule, this would be a huge loophole that every timekeeper would do to favor the home team.

That's the danger, this may happen again in the playoffs, Silver should step in now and look at this.

Crazy ending. Last year we wouldn't win this type of game.

Only thing I can think of is that the refs ruled that the play would have ended anyway, even if the clock started on time. Dunno, I’d be curious to see the last two minute report from the league on this one.

Luke almost cost us the game by keeping randle on the bench.

He was terrible tonight defensively, he gave up 2-3 wide open three pointers and 2-3 slams because he refused to rotate. We sat him and next thing you know we are up by 6 in like 2 minutes, then 11. Sitting Randle is why we won the game. The last few minutes were a combination of IT being garbage, Lonzo shooting that 3 way too early and KCP missing more shots at the end of the game. The rotations were correct tonight, except maybe we need to chill on letting IT handle the ball so much in the last two minutes.

The past 2 games clearly showed how they miss BI. Some godawful decision making in the last few minutes of both games.

Wonder If Luke will finally rein IT in (I.E. not play him in crunch time).

if he didn't do it tonight....when it was obvious not the ideal time for him to be on the court....I do not see it happening

I agree that when Hart is here and we have the lead, that he should be closing... but IT had done well until the last couple minutes so there was no need. Just a team comedy of errors towards the end, but it ended up a character building experience hopefully. I think Luke was trying to help him bounce back from last game and it backfired.

Brook is too tall to get rebounds. IT has the advantage of extra time to get under the ball.

Maybe this is some obscure footnote in the rules. if time is messed up and the inbounds ball doesn't touch anyone and it's a Wednesday, then jump ball.

either Luke is getting pressure from the FO, or he does not have the backbone to sit IT.....we had the lead under 5 minutes....IT should be on the bench

Yeah I do not understand why the (bleep) does Luke close with IT and a high offense, low defense unit when we're trying to close a game and we have an 11 point lead late? Or at least when we're up 7 with a couple minutes left?

Two games in a row, we blow 11 point leads in the final minutes.

Frustrating AF. Worst win of the season. But at least it's a win.

Lakers choking at the end of the game again. Second game in a row.
I'd understand if it was a rookie thing, but KCP, Brook, IT all at the heart of it.

You know, as crazy as it sounds it kinda feels like that was a long time ago. The only thing I can attributed that to is our recent success. Small, but success nonetheless.

Lonzo didn’t shoot a three early. IT’s floater never hit rim, so the clock never reset. Zo got the ball with less than 3 seconds left on the shot clock. He actually saved IT by screaming the clock at him, because It had no idea and was taking his sweet time.

He wasn't good at the close but only part of the problem... amazing how quickly people forget your 9 dimes when you're five foot nine.

Yeah, things seem much calmer with BI on the floor. Hart is a great presence too.
