End of games?

Question for those who watch last 3-4 minutes of games since we traded for IT & even before? I haven't seen entire games yet alone end of games mostly highlights cause I'm on the east coast.

QUESTION is, does Luke substitute offense for defense & vice versa when the game is close last 2 minutes or so & opportunity presents itself a timeout or stoppage of play?

I saw against Spurs we were up by 5 & Rudy Gay hit a 3 pointer while being guarded by Travis Wear & Wear got lost & Rudy was wide open & drained it (why didn't we have our best defenders out there after I believe a timeout?).

So, much like many other games we had a 3-4 pt lead & allowed Lillard to tear us up from the 3 point line & I saw no one (Lonzo) really guarding him & he was wide open. I know we don't have Ingram or Hart but seems to me that KCP shoulda been guarding him cause he is veteran savy enough & size wise better match up than Lonzo (Lonzo depends on guarding people from behind, thus allowing room for long jumpers.

Rest of games are so important to finish season strong!

Wasn't he swapping IT in/out in either the Spurs game or the one before it?

We're so short handed, I'm not sure which swaps are really available to be used.
