Kentucky's path to the Final 4....
- defeat #12 Seed Davidson....move to Round of 32
- up next, #13 Seed Buffalo...move to Sweet 16
- then beat either #9 Seed K State or #16 Seed UMBC....on to the Elite 8
- now the big test....either #7 Seed Nevada or #11 Seed Loyola Chicago....hello Final 4!
amazing.....they may not even face a single team from a high major conference unless K State wins.

Yes, the draw opened up for Kentucky. The way this year is going, though, I'm not just giving them a free pass into the Final Four lol.
The draw has opened up for Gonzaga and Michigan, too, but both teams aren't playing well IMO. Wouldn't be surprising at all to see a darkhorse like Texas A&M get all the way to the Final Four. And, of course, top-seeded Xavier could always just live up to its seeding and get there (I never thought that they would).

like to know what % nationally had Virginia/Arizona, UNC and Michigan State as 3 of their Final 4. I bet it was a decent %.
Yeah, probably a minimum of 15% and a max of 30% or so? I'm guessing that a majority had one of Virginia or Arizona in that region, that a majority had UNC in that region, and that a majority had Duke or Michigan St. in that region.

Jerod West, the starting PG for Marshall is the son of Jerod West who hit one of the most famous shots in WVU basketball history.....in 1998 knocking off Cincinnati to get WVU to the Sweet 16.
Not surprised UMBC got knocked out. Its one thing to pull a surprise on a team that hasn't scouted you, but once more teams pay attention to you its harder to do what you do best. Also all the media attention probably diverted some of the focus from their routine. This tournament is all about winning and advancing. Doesn't matter how you do it.

I had Arizona vs Michigan st in the final LOL.
At least I had Nevada beating Cincinnati to go to sweet 16 so there’s that...
Crazy how the teams you expected to win get blown out.
This was the first year in awhile I’ve payed much attention to college till the tourney and my bracket SUCKS lol. _________________ We pour this booze and we drink this booze because we think it's yummy. YUMMY! So over the tounge and down the throat to party in our tummys.
