Probably a loss...not facing offensively challenged Memphis tonight.

Kuz, Randle and KCP basically have to carry the team.

The NBA is showing the Lakers mad respect as they have added the Lakers and Spurs game on April 4 to a ESPN national TV telecast

lakers will always bring ratings, even in down years.

They have been exciting to watch, and I’m willing to bet the NBA knows how close we are to being good again, this isn’t just about ratings it’s about knowing what we will have in the up coming years

4 more wins seems very possible... A 36 win season would be great considering all the injuries to a young team

Kuzma anchors short-handed Lakers' lineup vs. Pistons

Quote:
As the season winds down, the Los Angeles Lakers are trying to give their prized rookies as much playing time as possible.

Point guard Lonzo Ball and forward Kyle Kuzma have played heavy minutes in March, with Kuzma continuing to make the stronger impression. During the month, Ball is averaging 9.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 2.3 steals in 37.4 minutes per game but is shooting just 31.9 percent from the field.

Kuzma is averaging 17.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 37.5 minutes while shooting 46.4 percent.

The rookie duo will continue to see plenty of action when the Lakers finish off a road trip against the Detroit Pistons on Monday night.

I'm sticking to my pre-season thread prediction of 39. Go Lakers!

I think we can definitely get 6 more wins.

We should hopefully get a W tonight, then we have the Mavs, Bucks, and Kings to round out the week. That's 3 wins right there.

Then the schedule gets pretty tough with SAS/Utah/Minny/Utah/Houston/LAC to round out the year, but the good news is, 4 of those 6 games are at home. I think we can beat LAC, and sneak a win at home against either SAS, Minny (depending on Butler's availability), or Utah. That leaves Houston in the 2nd to last game of the year, by which time they'll have the 1-seed locked up (if they don't already), and could be resting CP3/Harden.

So 38 is doable for sure, but we'll have to win a couple games we're not supposed to in order to make it to 40.
