Shaq's shoe size is 22. He has to get all his gear custom made. So no, he doesn't wear $40 shoes. |

LeBron's is straight-up FUGLY.
Kobe's I'd already seen but I love 'em.
VC's are the best of the rest.
Duncan's actually look pretty decent. But not $250-decent |

Just noticed Jordan has his own shoe.
And they include it in the 2006 All-Star Shoes list
Interesting that they note Kobe's symbol is "phallic" while they're busy
servicing Jordan's phallace. |

Converse is a divison of Nike, and the $175 pricetag includes another pair of old school low tops. |

Here is a bit on what the processor in the adidas shoe does. This was from an arcile talking about the Adidas 1 running shoe that has the processor, i dont know if TD's shoe does the same thing.:
http://www.usatoday.com/tech/products/gear/2005-04-26-adidas-1_x.htm
Each shoe contains a microprocessor capable of making 5 million calculations per second. A magnetic sensor in the shoe's heel measures its compression on impact, taking 1,000 readings per second.
A secret algorithm (Adidas engineer Mark Oleson says they intentionally omitted it from the patent) then decides on the optimal amount of cushioning required.
To achieve that, a tiny electric motor, spinning at 6,000 rpm, turns a metal rod that adjusts the hollow plastic heel. All of this is powered by a replaceable 3-volt battery said to last for 100 hours.
I have to tell you, "It works." Just don't expect spring-loaded leaping power that will with empower you with Steve Austin-like propulsion. And don't expect any special torsion control. These shoes are about cushioning. |

I dont think he wears $40 shoes but I also dont think the ones he wears are high quality. I've heard him get ripped by the media for wearing cheaply made shoes, they claim that his cheap shoes are another contributor to his injuries.
Now, I know that Snaq got his own line so he could make shoes affortable to everyone, but I still dont see anyone wearing those ugly things. _________________ "Scoring the ball is pretty much like breathing to me." - Kobe Bryant |

hate to admit it, but wade's is the hottest. Will never pay for it until people quit trying to put him on the same level as lebron, kobe and AI. Not a true all-star, at least not yet... _________________ "Every time he comes out of the game, all I say is put the hero back in," Bynum said. Shaq has a contract with starter our somethin like that, he wears cheap shoes basically. In price, which means cheap in quality, its not brain science. |

Putting aside the fact that I'm a huge Kobe fan, his shoe does look the nicest. It looks the most normal. All the other shoes are ridiculously flashy and just plain ugly. |

Phallic? Really, the logo looks phallic?
I'm squinting my eyes, and turning my computer screen different ways, but I just don't see it. I mean its kind of tri-angle-ish, but phallic?
I guess we see what we are looking for sometimes.
Why doesn't he say VC's bald head looks phallic?
Yao's shoe is called the AIR PUMP THUNDER, and Nash's shoe is called AIR FLIGHT BANGER.
And we all no Shaq is a DI--!
But he thinks Kobe's logo is phallic? |

The MJ shoes look much better in person. I got them yesterday not because I was thrilled by them but because I collect them. When I opened them and held them in my hand I was very please. They look really nice and they are not busy at all. Even the box looks good. _________________ "Scoring the ball is pretty much like breathing to me." - Kobe Bryant |
