will not be shocked if he is in a FO some day....it is clear in the interview, the guy is very intelligent and presents himself in a very professional manner....maybe he can take those math skills and become an analytic guru

Well a lot of people wanted to sign a shooting specialist like Matt Thomas so I don't know why A Ingram wouldn't be in this category also.

My buddy said he has a slow release and won't shoot more than 35% 3's in the NBA, what do you guys think? lol

Seems like a good guy. Don’t think he’s an NBA caliber contributor

neither are ennis or caruso and they made the team

True but let’s not overreact to a 10 year minor league player. This isn’t going to be like one of those Disney movies they make about an old guy coming up and taking the game by storm

The NBA could use its own Kurt Warner story.

This guy should get a job in the organization as some type of community outreach staff.

Luke was at El Sereno MS recently to open a health center. I could see Ingram being the voice of "follow your dreams"

Man why are you guys acting like he's homeless lol

He's a good guy, if he impresses the Lakers enough maybe he gets a training camp invite and a chance to prove himself

After reading through this thread, I'm as happy for Andre Ingram as I'm amused at the initial reaction to Yinomes on P.1.

As much as this guy has scored in the GLeague, as many years as he's put in, and as much as people who play in the G League like this guy, it's good to see him in an NBA uniform. Win or lose I hope he walks away with some NBA scoring stats to tell his grandkids about, and even if only for a few minutes I hope he lights the scoreboard up.

.... aaand that's exactly what he did! Big time cheers for AI! Purple rain!!

I could see him as a 12th man kept for 1-2 years to be a good locker room presence and provides the occasional open 3.

Also his weird release might give Lonzo hope, that its possible to have an unconventional shot in the nba lol.

Luke Walton on Andre Ingram: I feel like he's a Pied Piper of Laker basketball. When he walked into the bldg, he made this sound - kind of went hee hee -- & all the players in the bldg started going hee hee and here we go. Most unbelievable thing I've ever seen

Just saw Inside the NBA interview. Uncle Ingram's part time job and passion is mathematics. He tutors junior and high school kids, prepping them for the SATs. Wow, good man! Rooting for him.

I was at the game and his release was not slow at all. He wouldn’t even bring down the ball shot it up super fast we were both impressed at his quick release.

Watched footage before the game. He lines up his arm straight ahead of his face. Jerry West teaches his kids at his camps to shoot like this with your arm aligned up towards the basket.
Check it out its perfectly aligned.

Edit
Ok saw tonight’s game footage and did see his feet all over the place after releasing the ball. That was funky

Really happy for Ingram. He showed all of us how to threat opportunities in our lives and not taking anything easy.
One thing though I do not like is that everyone are looking at him like he is some king of poor guy who doesn't have anything to eat or some random guy with oportunity to play NBA game. I mean come on.

Props to FO for this move. At the same time, the FO is really good in writing scripts to keep us entertained. Last year they created the Kobe farewell tour, this year it was initially the youths' show and now this. Truly Hollywood style!
