There'a a Andre Ingram 20 jersey on the NBA website.

http://store.nba.com/Jerseys_Custom_Shop/Mens_Los_Angeles_Lakers_Nike_Gold_Swingman_Custom_Jersey_-_Icon_Edition

For $149.99 you can be the first on your block to own one.

lmao Jeannie knows how to make a quick buck...
ayyy, jump on that hype train.

but this actually might advance his resume.

How marketable is Andre Ingram? well he sold X number of jersey's and only played 2 games at the end of the season. He represents something right now. he's basically a mascot for hard work, perseverance, and being ready for the moment. you would be an idiot if you had room on the edge your bench and you didnt sign this dude. that alone is enough to get him on the edge of a nba bench. He's a walking coach's talking point, "See Andre over there, Ay andre, how long did you play in the DLeague before you got called up? how hard did you work? you didnt have those nice hotels and chartered flights did you?"

2018 Player Capsule: Andre Ingram

Quote:
Season Summary:
Andre Ingram’s season was only two games long, but he was one of the biggest stories in the NBA.

After a decade of grinding away in the G League, the 32-year-old finally received his long-awaited NBA call-up, and he took full advantage.

He scored 19 points in his debut — hitting each of his first five shots — and received “MVP!” chants from the STAPLES Center crowd along the way.

Ingram then turned to facilitator mode for the Lakers’ season finale. He handed out a team-high six assists, as the purple and gold ended the year by thumping the LA Clippers.

I'd love to keep him here just for his presence, just a great personality for our guys to be around. Also truly not a bad 3rd string option, I haven't watched him in the G league but I didn't see him making dumb mistakes in the minutes he got, and that's about all you can ask for someone at his level.

this is what i'm saying. the guy is a vet, doesnt seem to get rattled by hype because he's so old in nba terms. he also knows what he's good at and what he's not good at. he wont try to "over do it" because again. he's older (by nba standards). This will keep the mistakes down. So you give me a guy that doesnt make a ton of mistakes. plays decent defense in limited mins and can stretch the floor. remember stretching the floor is not about hitting all of your 3's. its about hitting enough of them to the point the nba is worried about you hitting them when left open. therefore, they guard you which ...stretches the floor and gves guys like randle room to work.

I say keep the man. Unless you find a diamond in the rough that will be better then him.

After the dust settles this summer the FO should sign AI to a min. contract. He could be a valuable end of bench guy that can really shoot.
We need a sniper. He has a quick release and can shoot the trey just as good as anybody in the league.

He's mature and would be a great team mate and a mentor to the young guys.

Welp, it's official - RUN IT BACK. Lakers running their G League team again

2018 + LBJ = 2019

A "feel good" story to cover yet another disappointing season. Nice, though, AI seems like a genuinely good dude....

I feel bad for him in that the Lakers are only giving him a chance because they waved the white flag on the season. He would probably be one of those guys who would bust their butt the entire season because he appreciates being in the NBA full time.

Q in Andre Ingram!!

Lakers playing us like the "Truman show" where the buddy shows up with beers when Truman starts to question things.

Let's distract everyone with another feel good story.

Good for him. Hope he hits 14 3s in a game.

Edit: make that 15!

I am really happy for the guy....glad he will get more than a 2 game run this year. I hope he balls out. That said, this is a weak attempt by the FO to change the narrative from this disaster of a season....hoping to get a few more miles out of last years feel good story. There were players on South Bay that had better years than Ingram this year...and were more deserving based on merit. Ingram was not even a starter this season.

Love Ingram, but it is a bit insulting that the FO thinks the fans are idiots.

When LeBron said playoff mode was being activated, this was the move he was actually referring to. Rest of the league should be scared

Also, who needs LBJ when you have PB&J?

I agree with this one. I like Ingram and all that but this move is just to bring some people to Staples and to try and show a fans something so they do not think about all the (bleep) what is happening.
