From what I understand, he didn't want to play the Corey Brewer role of only being a fringe rotation guy, so this is what they decided on. It's why he didn't play later on in the season when everyone was hurt. |

I am not hating on him because of his contract. To hear this kind of stuff about him not wanting to be a rotation guy solidifies the feeling that Luke and the FO handled the situation perfectly. |

| Deng obviously thinks he can play at a high level. Tough situation for him. Maybe he would do better on a slower half court minded team (spurs or Cavs)? |

Rob also showed the rookies/youngins a scrap book of side-by-side photos of NBA all stars as rookies next to a picture of them in their prime and asked the young guys what they had to do to make that change to their physique.

Magic says Lonzo is a master at making his teammates better but now he needs him to be more aggressive on offense, finish around the basket and develop a couple of shots.
Kuzma and Lonzo not playing in summer league. Magic wants them focused in the weight room and gym. |
