Absolutely. If Cleveland were to say get swept by Indy, that would greatly increase the chances he leaves the Cavs.
Once he decides to leave, anything could happen.
To me, he is still the best player in the league.
There’s no debate. Denying this just shows a hatred for Lebron.
With that said, I’m not sure getting swept makes him want to join the Lakers. It could make him believe he can no longer carry a team and make him wanna join a more talented group to get a few more rings.
Right now? ...maybe. Next year? You better believe there’ll be a fierce debate. Two years from now? Probably not.
This pretty much settled the debate for me
Same. Being the best player in the finals on his way to finals mvp and thoroughly outperforming James put the nail in the coffin for me. Since then KD has only been the best offensive weapon in the league while playing all nba defense. Lebrons title as best player has largely been reputation for the past few years because Curry’s mvp year he was better than lebron as well. There’s an argument that lebron hasn’t been the best player in the nba since his last championship..Lebron is still a huge playmaker and can score in bunches, but the complete and utter lack of any defense anymore gives the nod to KD. I’d also put harden above him as well. Impact wise there isn’t a guy in the league right now that is more important to his team than harden. There’s a few other guys in the convo also, AD, Giannis, Curry and a healthy Kawhi all have arguments.
Well it sure makes it easier. Ask Miami and Cleveland. Those places have zero rings since 2012 without Lebron. During that time our team has really struggled to win 30 games. So it’s not like we have enjoyed great success without him.

I don't think Lebron wants any part of the West unless he can find a way to get to Houston with Harden and CP3. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Losing ASAP seems good, but I think if he somehow loses to Philly in the ECF, that'd prevent him from signing with them, which currently is the biggest threat to our pitch. So I'd root for that to happen. _________________ www.lakersbrasil.com

Good lord why do people who call themselves Lakers fans come on here and talk this stupid stuff?
No, no and NO THANK YOU.
The Lakers and Lebron never had a rivalry or any form of personal vendetta. It's not like we are asking for Larry Bird to come join the Lakers. I don't understand this mindset of Laker fans that we should not want anyone because we can do it alone. Uhh.... no we can't. A good chunk of our championships have come from trades and signing significant players.

Uhhhh, It’s up to debate if he really wants to join Harden and CP3, sounds like he wants to team up with Kawhi and the Lakers have better flexibility to make it happen along with bringing in PG...
