A win is a win, but man, we have a TNF game against the Vikings, and this is the worst time to have your two starting CB's injured.

Good win. Our defense didn't have their A game but the offense was great.

Talib's injury didn't look that serious but I'd very surprised if Peters was available for Thursday. At least we're at home for Thursday's game and then have 10 days off after.

Not as serious as losing Peters and Talib but JoJo Natson has a broken hand.

Costly win.

You could see the Chargers getting more aggressive attacking the DBs after our two starters went down.

Rams are favored by 6 1/2. I just realized Buffalo beat Minnesota 27-6 yesterday and the game was at Minn.

Rams’ CB Aqib Talib suffered a high-ankle sprain Sunday that will sideline him at least one month, and Rams CB Marcus Peters strained his calf and is considered day to day, though with a Thursday night game this week, it will be tough for him to play, per league sources.

I absolutely love Minnesota +6.5. The public will be off them after the embarrassment of losing at home to the Bills. Rams down both starting corners, with Diggs and Thielen coming to town. Vikings, at 1-1-1, should be a lot more desperate than the 3-0 Rams. I think Minnesota wins outright, but I love them getting points in this spot.

Talib might need surgery on his ankle. He is getting a 2nd opinion.

So on #LARams injuries: CB Aqib Talib has a more serious ankle injury that may require surgery. HC Mcvay said he will get a second opinion. CB Marcus Peters is more day-to-day with a calf injury and he has a chance to play on Thursday vs. Minnesota.

Also on #LARams injuries: Returner JoJo Natson had surgery on his left hand. He’ll be out this week, but McVay said he could be back for Week 5 at SEA.

Sean McVay remained hopeful that even if Aqib Talib does require ankle surgery, as seems likely, he might return before the end of the season. McVay said Rams would learn more tomorrow about Marcus Peters' short-term status.

Sean McVay indicated Cooper Kupp will handle punt returns and Blake Countess will handle kickoff returns this week. Natson could return for the Seattle game, McVay said. Dominique Easley (knee) is questionable for this week.

News on Peters sounds a bit more optimistic. Ram will use Kupp/Countness against Vikings and then get Natson for game 5.

I would expect Rams to sign a CB from their practice squad with only three healthy CB's.

Totally opposite of what I was expecting. I thought Talib only turned an ankle as he walked off the field while Peters was carried off.

Quote:
At his Monday press conference, head coach Sean McVay said cornerback Marcus Peters suffered a calf strain rather than an ankle injury and is considered day-to-day. In fact, Peters could play in Thursday’s game against the Vikings if he responds well enough to treatment.

“That was really encouraging news,” McVay said of Peters.

Calf strains are tricky depending on the grade. At least it's encouraging if he can't play Thursday then he might be ready to go by week 5.

That Sam Shields signing is looking really good now.

My buddy got tix to the game on Thursday.. but as luck would have it.. I have the job interview of my life at 8am the next morning.

I don't trust myself to not get (nearly) blackout drunk and then showing up hungover to the interview and blowing it. So I have to pass.

Have yet to attend a game so far this year.

Cousins has thrown two perfect balls. Just over the hands of the defender. 7 zip Vikings.

The sun is directly in our eyes, and in back of the vikings players heads. What determines which side you start on?

Right after Troy pointing out how poorly Goff has been in the Red Zone this season.

McVay even does the flying shoulder bump with his players.

Almost got knocked on his can by Goff.

Love it.

That's hitting the receiver in stride. Kupp didn't have to wait just run up under the ball.

The only bad thing about scoring so fast is our defense has to come back on with only about 2 minutes rest.
