I'll take all the optimism we can muster but I can't help but recall how New Orleans dominated both lines. We could rush six and Brees would have enough time to plant his own phone near the goal post. New Orleans could rush four and it seemed Goff was regularly hurried.

Now, Talib on Thomas should be an improvement, but Goff is still the wildcard.

The Rams have been in some close games this year. I think the experience is going to pay off

I doubt they practice much before playoff games anyways, most of these guys are rehabbing from injuries and soreness. That being said, there is an advantage to closed stadiums in the NFL as it allows you to continue your activities in the lead up to the games.

Tarps have been removed from the Rams practice field with a light drizzle falling at the team facility. Grounds crew workers are out with blowers to dry up some wet spots. Looks like they will give practice a go on the field. (link: http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-41053157-4) espn.com/espn/now?nowId…

The Rams' official injury report on Thursday: "No injuries to report." Clean bill of health as they prepare for the NFC Championship game. (link: http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-41053179-4) espn.com/espn/now?nowId…

I kinda give the Pats the edge because of weather and experience. I know the Chiefs play in cold weather. I give the edge to the Pats for their ability to play in cold weather and their bright light experience. I want the Chief and Rams in SB LIII. Love me some Tom and Drew but IMO it's time to pass the baton to the new guard.

I think the experience playing at their field in week 9 will benefit us in this game.

Big loss for them.

New Orleans Saints tight end Ben Watson won't play this week against the Rams, according to a source. Watson missed two practices due to appendicitis, and while he's been able to avoid surgery so far, the team decided he'll be inactive this week. 8-4 LINK

Quote:
Vinovich worked the Saints-Rams regular season game, in which New Orleans won 45-35. He and his crews have officiated 12 games for the Saints – three on road, and nine in New Orleans. The Saints are 8-4 in those contests, winning each road game but losing four times at home. Their most recent game together was an ugly loss in the 2018 regular season finale, when the Saints rested their starters.

Great, the fix is in with this officiating crew coupled with the slightly early kickoff and the limited practice this week.

If it comes down to a field goal both teams have great field goal kickers.

This and the fact the Brees throws the ball within 2.6 seconds, could be a long day for the Rams.

I do hope they win though, if nothing else it will help dissolve the bitter taste in my mouth after last nights Laker loss...

I also hope that the LIGHT being shined on this Vinobitch makes him refrain from over penalizing the Rams...
