The weather forecast should be nice for the next two weeks. I think the Patriots have an indoor facility so that could help them.

Early prediction. I think it's going to be a high scoring game and whichever teams defense comes up with the big play will win.

Rams 31
Patriots 27

It's cool that they did not face each other this season, adds to the match-up discussions.

Even though the Chiefs led the NFL in sacks, they did not pressure Brady enough, hopefully he (Brady) will have many face-to-face meetings with 99!

It’s pretty cool to have LA vs Boston in 2 of the 3 major sports. 2of 4 major sports if you only consider areas where hockey is a priority.

2010 Lakers vs Celtics NBA Finals
2018 Lakers vs Red Sox World Series
2018 Rams vs. Patriots Super bowl 53

crazy 8/9 year span if you ask me.

If the Celtics manage to win a ship before this decade is over, Boston will have won titles in all four major sports in a 10 year span. I don't know if any other city can claim that.

They've got 3/4 and we've got 2/4:

2010 - NBA championship
2012, 14 - Stanley Cups
2017, 18 - World Series runner-up
2019 - Superbowl

No respect for the Rams, media keep talking about the non call, get over it. Rams should use this as extra motivation.

No it certainly didn't. Glad I was wrong.

If you want to complain about a no call I think it should be Ford lining up off sides. There was no advantage or disadvantage afforded to either side by him lining up off side. Should have been a missed call.

It was a bad call but the Saints still had a chance to win in OT. They even won the coin flip.

Was listening to the Bill Simmons podcast today...He usually talks NFL, and gambling lines with his friend Cousin Sal (Jimmy Kimmel's cousin). I think he ended up betting (and losing) $57,000 on the Saints. Pretty crazy.

I hope the weather is nice enough to leave the roof open at M-B stadium as I expect there will be a lot more Pats fans.

The keys to beat NE:

1. Keep Brady off the field by controlling the clock

The Pats ran almost twice the amount of plays than the Chiefs, which tired out their defense. The Pats are well coached and Brady converted most 3rd down conversions. The Pats also ran very well against the Chiefs putrid defense.

2. Establish the run game with Gurley and CJ duo

Control the clock with our RBs and tired out their defense instead. Gurley had a bad game against NO and hopefully he bounces back in the SB.

3. After establishing the run, stay aggressive with the offensive playcall

Run a couple of trick plays and misdirections to keep their defense on their toes but at the same time don't score too quickly to keep Brady off the field.

For the defense, I know Wade Phillips has a lot of experience dealing with Brady. Easier said then done but put lots of pressure on Brady and shut down their run game. Our secondary is weak but hopefully Brady won't have many chances with us pressuring. Goff needs to play a big game as well.

LOL, 230,000 Saints fans signed a petition demanding the NFL replay the game next Sunday...

stay tuned...

I am looking at the future forecast in Atlanta and they are projecting showers Saturday and Sunday 2/2 and 2/3. 57 degrees. Of course that is way out there with projections so it may not be accurate. They will most likely keep it closed to keep everybody nice and cozy.

Look at this (bleep). lol

Fully expect a class action lawsuit to be filed against the NFL in the next 24 hours as a result of people claiming losses from bad call in Rams-Saints game. Don’t know how convincing the claims will be, but have no doubt they will be made.

And yet nothing about those missed face masks calls including the one that would've allowed the Rams to get another set of downs to score a TD on that drive that McVay ended up settling for a FG. Seems like there were a lot of people that had money on the Saints and ended up losing a lot of money.

Has anyone posted that the Rams are 7-0 with the referee who is doing the super bowl?

Conversely, I heard on the radio telecast yesterday that the rams were like 0-8 with the crew from yesterday's game. Last win was in 2006.

Goes to show that it probably doesn't mean a whole lot of anything.

Good we need all the help we can get playing the Cheatriots. Do you know what the Patriots record is with this referee?

If the Rams win, will they become known as the Scams?

Last I heard it has gone up to over 500.000.

Maybe someone should start a petition asking for the Chiefs to get the ball in OT too.
