The Way Everybody Measures NFL Schedule Strength? It’s Wrong.

According to 538 website the Rams have the 10th ranked strength of schedule. The NFC teams have the toughest schedules. The cheatriots have the 2nd easiest schedule. smh

The Rams ended up getting rid of Tavon Austin after all. Traded to Dallas for 6th round pick.

From NFL.Com Post NFL Draft Power Rankings: Rams #2

NFL.Com

Quote:
RANK
2. RAMS

Too high? No way. The Rams did nothing but make their football team better this offseason. They fortified the defense, a group that steadily improved last season, with the additions of veterans Aqib Talib, Marcus Peters and -- since we last completed this exercise -- Ndamukong Suh. Suh might not have dominated in Miami, but he was far from a bust. Putting him next to Aaron Donald was like parking a 1978 Trans Am with gold trim next to the blue-and-white '69 GTO you've had sitting in your driveway earning Defensive Player of the Year honors. Trade acquisition Brandin Cooks doesn't exactly "replace" Sammy Watkins at receiver. Different players. Doesn't matter. This offense is gonna rake.

Ugh. San Diego always gives LA the worst teams.

Quote:
ST. LOUIS • A St. Louis jury has awarded millions of dollars to a former NFL running back who suffered a severe knee injury in a game at the Edward Jones Dome in 2015

Quote:
Bush's original suit was against the St. Louis Rams, St. Louis Regional Convention and Sports Complex Authority and the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission.
But on Friday, Associate Circuit Judge Calea Stovall-Reid dismissed the convention authority and sports complex, leaving the Rams as the sole defendant.

Change of venue needed for new trial. I bet Reggie wouldn't get as much love from an LA jury despite his stellar career at SC

First preseason game is tomorrow at 4pm vs Ravens (CBS). One more month til season opener against the Raiders

Hope they get this Donald situation wrapped up soon. Been waiting all summer to see our revamped defense.

Ugly ass game...reminds me of why I hate NBA pre-season. Starters don't play and the team looks like crap.

Preseason means nothing in the NFL other than for guys trying to make the roster. I wouldn't give valuable guys on the roster a lot of playing time for fear of getting a season ending injury.

My bet is if there is a deal, he won't sign it until the preseason is over.

Like Derrius Guice. Out for the season with a torn ACL after one quarter of pre-season action.

Rams would be very lucky if QB "Minion" suffered a season ending injury.

Not that I am wishing any ill-will on the guy, but come-on Rams, you can't sign a better number 2 QB?

He looks horrible, he was horrible in last years game when they rested the starters.

Look at the Raven game, they had three decent QB's, look at the Eagles last season, when their top QB went down, their number 2 guy stepped it up and won the Super Bowl.

If Golf goes down this team will turn into the Browns...

Not many teams have a Nick Foles as their backup QB....
In fact if their starting QB goes down, many teams are screwed...their season is over...past examples include the Patriots, Packers, Raiders, etc.

Yeah. They’ll just sign or trade for one if that happens

At what point will the starters actually play? Last game of pre-season?

1st game of the regular season. If they aren't playing in the 1st or 2nd game of the pre-season its unlikely they will suit up at all. Looks like its just tryouts for guys trying to make the team and getting playing time for the backups.

The Rams and Aaron Donald agree to a six-year extension! The defense is going to be sick.

Not surprised by the timing of this. He wasn't going to play those preseason games, so he timed it in between the last game of preseason and the first game of the season. He's shown he is still a force even without suiting up in the preseason in the past couple of years.

Pretty crazy to think we had the chance to draft both Mack and Donald in 2014.
