Happens all the time. Why else would the Knicks be confident they are getting KD even though they are not even allowed to talk to him. Or how magic was in LeBrons driveway for a prearranged meeting just before the free agency start date. And the Clippers had officials stalking Kawhi at many games.
Its only tampering if you get caught. And if you not tampering you not trying. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi |

That is certainly a good start. But we have already been lapped by the competition on those fronts.

Lakers Fanbase is no better than Jeanie.
Lakers fans hate or love things, players and coaches without having a shred of evidence or logic for those feelings.
I love the Lakers and that won't ever change.
I seriously HATE our fanbase. Only fanbase that MIGHT be worse or less knowledgeable about basketball is the New York Knicks fans. Both are entitled, whiny wusses who listen to people who have little to NO basketball knowledge. _________________ Build around team players, not ISO players. |

Yea the PG summer was a heart breaker. I remember being in he poconos mountains at my wife’s aunts party. I went outside to the car close to 12am and started listening to Sirius radio and maybe 10 mins in they announced PG staying in OKC. I had this wow feeling the whole way home. But the very next day I was headed to stop and shop and heard Lebron was joining the Lakers. Please Let Kawhi came to the Lakers _________________ Coach Vogel, Kidd, Hollins

Ironic thing is leonard's offensive/scoring game is better than Lebron.
If anything, Lebron would have to take backseat to Leonard |

If he joins, it's going to be the closest thing to Kobe playing with Lebron. Or a lesser Jordan playing with a much greater Pippen. |

It's hard seeing him leaving a whole country behind but if anyone was to do it...it'd be Kawhi. |

Kawhi was always a pipe dream.
It's time to build a franchise organically. Look at Denver, Portland. It's possible but it takes time and patience. |

Denver has never won an NBA Championship. Portland is 0-for-its-last-41. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

Lebron's gonna be 35 next season. The signing could pay off or it could backfire miserably. My point was that it's impossible to go from a non-playoff team to a championship contender in a year. It's a step by step progression. You build a foundation, establish a culture and then go from there. We have nothing at the moment. We don't even know BI's status and if he will play. I thought they were building something special when BroLo and Randle were here, but it was all for naught. It's like they hit the reset button with those 1 year deals. That level of instability has a way to deterring free agents. |
