Not necessarily, but they do need to be a partner with Kawhi, not just an employer.

Maybe we need Dr. Judy in the pitch meeting.

I'm imagining opening night next season, raising the banner...and Kawhi isn't there. That'd be so weird.

Kawhi is a weird guy. He's unpredictable.

Are you two on a mission trying to keep Kawhi away from LAL in case his sister is reading these boards? Think, man, think before you post!

I want no part of Kesha. That boy moves like Red Foxx.

Not singling you out but there were many on this board who were saying no deal if just Ingram was part of any trade for Kawhi.

Kawhi is a second fiddle.

This boy moves like an old man and struggles to dribble and pass.

Kawhi probably needs about 30 games off next year.

This is some Twilight Zone stuff!

Kawhi is injured... is playing through his injury... carrying his team on his back without a 2nd all-star... has played the most minutes of all players... run more distance than all players... and scored the most points of all players... and you call him a second fiddle who moves like an old man?

Have you watched the rest of the playoffs or was this game 6 against GSW your first game?

Minutes Played - 1st Kawhi, played 100 minutes more than Draymond (highest on GSW).
Distance Covered - 1st Kawhi, run 7 miles more than Steph (highest on GSW).
Points Totals - 1st Kawhi 710 pts, 2nd Steph 599 pts.

Kawhi is a warrior, more so than anyone else in these playoffs... and you are witnessing actual MJ/Kobe type greatness.

Nobody who currently plays for the Raptors. But I think I get what Pop what seeing because I'm starting to see it for myself. Kawhi has experienced exponential growth scoring the ball. However, he's still not fully developed as a playmaker.

He's mimicking a very specific style of Kobe right now and that's awesome. Kawhi cannot get by on this and "load management" proves it. He's going to need another big jump in his overall game just to play three more years.

In a weird way, the KD injury news makes me wonder if Kawhi is basically a lock now to stay in Toronto no matter what happens in the series.

He can get that team to the finals again in the East, and the chances are pretty good there will be some other WC team in the finals next year and that team won't be as dominant as a fully healthy current Warriors squad.

Without a “big jump” in his game he’ll be out of the league at age 31? What did Pop see? Load management proves what? Who is he second fiddle to, again?

Kawhi is already broken. Load Management in the West means you aren't making the playoffs as a top four seed and probably not at all.

There is no reason to leave the East. You only have to play 75% of the time and missing home games isn't a critical issue. Sitting out games at Staples to rest isn't going to work. That ish will be a big issue.
