His defense has been called the worst in the NBA by the media. Can't remember where I saw this, but from having watched him play, I think that may be a fair assessment.

That said, the kid can straight light it up - he can score and score lots. If it's just for Walton, I say why not?

- OH, I think he's a FA or RFA at the end of this year...could be wrong, but I think so.

On Losse Cannons this is the latest story as of 3:30pm today. Mitch Stated Im not looking into the Big trades just yet, I believe this unit is promising and can do well in the 2nd half of the season..

uhmm.. One Question

WHO THE HELL IS RONALD MURRAY?????? and who are we going to give up?

In my estimation, it would be a mistake if Mitch isn't looking into the big trades yet. Flip Murray would be a good acquisition, providing we get him cheap. Though I am not sure about his defense...

But this year Mitch needs to finally pull the trigger, and yes, that does mean Odom. Last year this time rumors abounded about both Peja and Boozer, and yet nothing came of it. This year, no big rumors surfacing... but if anything is out there, we need to do it!

Ronald Murray is a SG (Definitely not a PG) about as talented as Profit. He seems to have gotten into the doghouse a bit with the new (est) coach. He's a below 1 million dollar salary with Bird rights, so he wouldn't be the feature in a trade but rather a throwin. Since there is no way the Sonics would trade Rashard Lewis to the Lakers for anything other than Odom in return - just about all sane trade scenarios are unworkable. If the Lakers could be bamboozled into taking on Fortson's bloated contract along with Lewis then the Sonics would probly be willing to talk because they'd get to laugh at the Lakers for the foreseeable future for being so dumb. Other than that, Seattle ain't trading with LA....

I have said before that a trade for Flip & Evans would get this team on the right track. I hope there's some truth to this.

O man...Murray would be a great pickup...he is so underrated its not even funny...this guy can flat out score...you want points, he'll get you points. Im not sure about his D tho, never looked into it...I say get rid of Slava and Walton for him...throw in a 2nd rounder or even George if they give us Evans.

If we land Ronald, then we should focus on the big prize which is a good trade and then we are set.

THE RUMOR IS NOT MURRAY FOR WALTON.

David Vassay reported that the Lakers are interested in him. Hartman asked Vassay who the Lakers would give up for him. His response was something along the lines of "I don't know... someone like a Luke Walton."

Fortson's contract isn't THAT bad from our standing point because it expires next year.

Wasnt Seatle about to trade him to Denver for Watson? Seatle's biggest need is backup point guard. I dont see them wanting any intrest in our point guards.

all i can say is respect to that call!!!

i have long felt this.....these guys would fix holes in our rosters and i don't care if Evans is undersised at PF i would start him and just tell him go get every one of Kobe's misses so he can have anotehr crack at it

just rebound the ball man!!!! and he would do it

Flip would be a great gunner off the bench. He could anchor the second team during the second quarter when they are usually giving back a lead or putting us in a hole. If it is for Walton, then this is a no-brainer. Let's hope Mitch is talking about Evans as well.

It was Shard who dropped a 50 point game in China or something, not Flip. For Luke, I'd do it but that's not even a rumor. Just beware that Flip doesn't add to our defense, one of those guys with the physical tools but just doesn't seem to have the mindset to want to play defense. I like Flip for his offensive capabilities but I'd rather have a Fred Jones.
