I think the confidence level should be up especially after PG took her daughter out of prep school in OKC.

About 65% confident. In my opinion, The Sixers are tempting for any player and if Cleveland can keep Lebron and shed salary they are a threat too. Other than that its probably more favorable to the Lakers.

It's funny, because the Pacers would be a pretty darn tough team if he went back. Dipo and PG could be tough, Victor brings a lot of the good Russ does with none of the bad.

Sam Vecenie had Fred Katz on his podcast this week....covers OKC, and he thinks the narrative that PG-13 is for sure gone is a little premature. He thought the odds were...

40% - OKC
40% - LAL
20% - Philly

Fred Katz is a Oklahoma guy of course he’s gonna say PG isn’t gone yet. they know the Thunder will be screwed for a long time if he signs with another team.

I'm somewhat confident. I think beyond the "we're the Lakers" appeal we always pipe on, there are actually compelling basketball reasons to come to LA. I am concerned about Houston and Philly, though. I'm more confident he won't return to OKC.

I've looked can't find one online. Maybe vegas sports book has it.

I was udder the impression that Vegas doesn't do prop bets where a party can bet with 100% certainty (say someone in the PG camp could bet a fortune where he goes).

What site can I bet this? I don't see this on sportsbook.ag or bovada. I would definitely put $100 on OKC. That's way too good odds to pass on

there is literally no way the Nets could really have better odds than OKC.

But DON’T WANT HIM.

He will command a MAX price but is not an elite player.

MAX players are guys like Lebron, Durant, Curry, The Brow, Harden, Kobe, Shaq, etc who can carry a team.

Paul George couldn’t get OKC out of the first round with Westbrook and Carmelo. He can score, but not convinced he can carry a team, much less take a team the title.

If Paul George signs for a reasonable amount, fine.

I'm so sick of hearing this. Seriously. I doubt there's more than a couple among those actually want him who think he's a transcendent talent that will lead a team to a title. But if LeBron and/or Kawhi don't come, this will be his team until someone of that caliber comes along or if someone of the young core (probably BI) surpasses him at some point. Your view of what a max player is supposed to be is flawed. George is definitely good enough to play the Robin role on a contending team, and ”Robins” are max-worthy players.

It's completely unreasonable to say you don't want a star player when this franchise is star-deprived and desperately trying to rebuild the brand. If George signs, guess what? The Lakers are officially back. Convincing stars to sign up is the hard part. Having a star like George on the roster would dramatically up your chances of finding it's Batman, which is something that those who take your perspective don't seem to comprehend very well.

Bro, some people here don't want LeBron, and while I can at least see the logic of someone saying "I don't want LeBron because I hate the guy's guts", you actually have people here arguing that we shouldn't get him for on-the-court reasons. Blows my mind.

I think the Lakers are the overwhelming favorite to sign PG. I think we're in a legit 3-horse race for LeBron, assuming it wasn't already a done deal where he was going to sign before this season even began. You can really see legit pros and cons as to why he should go to us, Houston, or Philly, and it very well could depend on how the playoffs play out. My gut says we get them both. We'll see.

There's a lot that goes into these decisions for NBA players, it's not as Black and White as it sounds or seems.
I hope he makes the decision to come to LA, he would be the wing player that we need...
