Houston showing how to beat the Warriors?
2 Max FA and Lakers can matchup with Rockets.
Even more reason for LBJ to come.

If LBJ and PG13 come and JR is kept by trading 2 #1 to dump Deng, this is a nice matchup:
PG13 vs. James Harden
Ball vs. Chris Paul
JR vs. Clint Capela.
BI vs. Trevor Ariza.
LBJ vs. P.J. Tucker

subs:
Hart, Kuzma, $4M FA vs. Gordon, Green, Nene

Houston offensively is not even playing that great either.

Didn’t think the Warriors would regress this soon.

Yeah, man. I don't think the Warriors' championship window is as big as many project it to be. They're still a very good team, but they're on their descent.

Multiple long play off runs will take its toll on any team, including the warriors. My guess Houston in 7, warriors will win the next one back in SF.

The Warriors looked nervous to me.
It seems like they do not have a closer.

You would think Durant, Curry and Thompson would be enough in terms of closers.

No, I don't think so. IF GS loses this year, I feel bad for the league next year. That team when motivated is pretty unstoppable.

You still need some depth in the playoffs. Also, they don't run the same offense with Durant in the mix.

no one in the rockets have great 3P% in the regular season - all below 39%.
tucker is shooting at a crazy % in the playoffs though.

Defense still counts. Basketball is more then just 3 pointers.

Hmm yes I think I agree the west looks like it's wide open, but maybe the exact opposite, more like a (bleep) blood bath.

I like our chances with PG+LBJ plus our young core. One huge variable is our young core. You don't know how they will react to the playoff pressure. Dam the Celtics for rebuilding earlier than us. Whatever roster we bring out next year will still be underdogs to GSW and Houston

the young core is not as variable as one would think.

jr showed he is dependable.
kuzma shows he can shoot.
that is 2 out of 4.

if ball comes back with an improved body and just a floater, he would be a tough assignment already.
bi also showed a lot last year when he was healthy.

Think it has to do with Curry coming back to late. He looks outta sync with the team. Also throws everyone else outta sync. Gotta give credit to Houstons defense too though. They've been closing hard on the shooters

What's hilarious is that both the Celtics and the Lakers used Brooklyn to aid in the rebuilding process

It's like the Nets job is to help other teams get better.

We’ve beat the Superdubz several times in the past three years. Anything can happen in the playoffs now that every series is a best of seven. Injuries, number of times in a row you go deep into the playoffs... teammate squabbling; these are dynamic factors that make the hottest team on a run the favorites to run the table. Just gotta make it to the dance.

They’re an awesome team to watch, but to put the dubz on a pedestal as a Laker fan is incomprehensible to me. It’s like cheering for the Celtics under any circumstance... pure crazy.

We have guys that are growing up in the league, playing selfless ball -together. I say, if we made the playoffs, and we played our best defense, we could have given the superdubs trouble... and a lot of it.

Everyone should be able to see how Iggy’s intangibles are sorely missed. He is pure heart hustle and brains.
