Vegas is just hedging in case the Lakers make big FA moves like they're expected to. If we just keep the young core + fillers, it'll normalize by the beginning of next season.

The odds for the Lakers always breed optimism.

1. They have the most fans and a lot of them are willing to make homer bets.

2. The Lakers get the most media coverage and are always in rumors to pick up all of the top players.

3. The Lakers are ratings gold and even people who don't like the Lakers feel the Lakers are bound to catch all of the breaks.

14/1? Holy cow. The other teams, without LBJ/PG13 would still be top 5 favorites.

Warriors and Celtics having better odds to land LeBron, makes the odds look like a joke.

Something is happening. going from 20/1 to 14/1 is SIGNIFICANT in Vegas odds... they know something we don’t

Yep.
They know crazies are putting money on the Lakers, so they need to lower the odds just in case the Lakers win

No one is betting on the Lakers unless we get LBJ and PG, if both of them don’t come our odds would drop to 100/1... like I said 14/1 is freaking amazing considering our status the last 5 years.

What are you talking about? People are betting these lines right now. That is why they changed it. Also, if the Lakers do get Lebron and PG the odds will be better than 14/1

If we dont get both PG and Bron those odds are going to go back down to a reasonable line.

SAS aka Stephen A Smith apparently spilled the beans that they will be in the conversation.
