How good would a Paul and George lead roster be?
Paul
Ball
George
Randle
Lopez
That team plays Defense, passes, and shoots at elite levels _________________ Coach Vogel, Kidd, Hollins

Not good because Chris Paul will be injured half the time. |

Would you even get 82 games a season between the starting guards? |

6th-8th seed with a 1st round exit...if CP3 is injured by the post season rolls around then the victim of a 1st round sweep.
Now slip BI in at the 3 and move Randle to the 5 and don’t resign lopez...maybe we win a first round matchup if lucky and healthy. |

CP3 will certainly take that team with PG13 to the playoffs. But he has been breaking down by the time the playoffs rolls around the past few years. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

That would be the only foreseeable problem with the roster. He played 58 last season. 65 games out of 82 wouldn’t be too bad. _________________ Coach Vogel, Kidd, Hollins

You can have that lineup even with Lopez here. _________________ Coach Vogel, Kidd, Hollins

if healthy, they would be a real pest to GS and Houston
But CP3 is not leaving Houston and I'd rather not see Ball anywhere besides the 2.
Randle/LeBron/Ingram/George/Lonzo + Kuzma/Hart <-- this is the dream |

I think that team could be better than Houston roster because of Randle and Paul’s defense. _________________ Coach Vogel, Kidd, Hollins

you cant predict how injured someone will be unless they have some chronic condition. |

I think a 3rd seed potentially. Portland was able to do it, I think we would be better on paper with this squad. Unfortunately, we would lose in the 2nd round most likely.
Speaking of Paul. What's up with his injury? It is recovered now? |

Why would Paul be available? I could argue he’s the most important player on the Rockets, Harden included. They recognize how valuable he is and won’t let him go IMO. |

Plus I'm pretty sure he and Morey made an under-the-table deal already, which is why CP3 opted in last summer instead of hitting FA (and so the Rox could trade for him). _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Luke wants to play a fast pace, ball movement offense. CP3 pounds the rock for 15 secs. Need I say more? |

Or if you have history showing that it is a regular occurrence. |

Great until playoff time, when CP3 gets injured again. |

We already got robbed of CP3 when he was at his best. The guy is ready to collapse now. |

If the Chris Paul Laker trade had actually happened, the Lakers wouldn't have been bad enough to get those 3 #2 overall picks. So the team wooldve been completely different. And based on Mitch/Jim's craptastic overpaying of foot-in-the-grave veterans I don't think the Lakers would be much better off today.
After Kobe's retirement they probably would've been in low playoff contention and getting bounced in the first round each year. |

I would actually put Zo at the 1 and CP at the 2 at this point in their careers and I think it would work out. Defensively they'd switch though. |

I'd rather keep Ball as our point guard instead of investing in a 30+ year old with injury history.
Makes no sense to chase stars without fit unless it's Lebron and we change every fit on the team. |
