She said that it's made people inside and out of the organization do a "double take". What she said really wasn't all that strongly worded. It was her opinion that it's a bad look (which I agree with) mixed in with her saying that people in the organization have taken notice. That's about it.
Plus you have to listen to her tone when she's answering. IMO her take wasnt as bold as the title.

I would...no FO wants to move the guy they drafted #2 for any reason beyond getting a star in return....and especially how much Magic wrapped his own reputation/legacy as a FO guy in Lonzo's success or failure.
I see this side, but I also think this particular FO will cut anyone who doesn’t follow the marching orders, plan or whatever you want to call it. They don’t discriminate imo.

Magic could make a strong point that we are serious about winning and dont put up with any BS...and at the same time dump Deng.
Agree with scoobs, if they get both Lebron and PG, I don't think Magic would have any blowback - at least from the causals who form the vast majority of the fanbase - for trading Ball and/or Kurz. It could easily be spun into a narrative of needing to win now while we have a chance, so we need to trade them for solid vets who fit around lebron and pg.
Only people who would be remotely pissed are hardcore fans who are concerned about the distance future of the franchise and/or have developed an emotional attachments to Ball/Kuzma having seen them developed.
Ball/Kuz are honestly only not expendable to the organization if the max FAs don't arrive

If they really feel a line was crossed, they'll have a talk with them and everyone will move on. These are two second-year players who took things a bit too far, but at the end of the day, seem like good kids that aren't going to cause trouble for the organization. If Magic, Rob, or whoever tells them to stop, I'm fairly confident that it will. So this is a non-story either way. The draft can't come soon enough...

I just don’t want the situation having a effect on our FA pursuit, we already moved on from the Jim/Jeannie circus.. hopefully Magic speaks out tomorrow and calms the situation down.
