Guys, can you please keep the IT stuff in more appropriate threads?

As I said, I think we'll have Bron so IT will be a footnote in our past.

But if we don't... you'll probably see me on here advocating for him.

I just hope he's not on one of our rivals next season. As we will actually have rivals again by then.

It's not just too expensive. It's the price for what you get. A turning 30 point guard who has serious hip issues, wants to start (but won't), has had recent history of creating locker room drama, is a severe liability defensively. and is one of the shortest players in the league.

I know you're tired of hearing people say no to IT, but you also haven't said what is the maximum price and contract length you'd be willing to give him and that you believe he would be willing to take?

Maybe we'd agree on that, whatever it is.

Transcendent.

Was wondering what your definition of a transcendent player is. I don't really see Zo possessing the sheer talent or the mental makeup to be a transcendent player.

This reminds me of a hipster making fun of someone who prefers a filet mignon meal over nouvelle cuisine.

You Philistines cannot possibly begin to understand the nuances of our palettes...

Meanwhile they remain hungry as f*ck while the steak eater goes home satisfied.

Stat stuffed. Better rbd%, asst%, stl%, and blk% than BI.
Better decision maker. Better vision. Better defender at the position, and better team defender. Gets BI easy buckets.

I'm pretty full.

And this is coming from a guy who likes BI.
But if you're calling me a hipster, that's going to far!!!!

Yet I never answered the question... lol

That's the beauty of filet vs. nouvelle cuisine... one you have to explain how you enjoyed yourself... the other you simply did.

But hey whatever wins us the most games next year...

So Lonzo has gone from a gangrenous foot to a bump of caviar topped with toasted creme fraiche in just a couple of days. Your metaphor game is on point!

I am really surprised by the huge margin. It does make some sense in that the louder and more influential voices seemingly went one way, while the overwhelming majority went the other.

As long as you remember that fans are running the San Antonio Spurs this thread should be no trouble to follow.

When will they wake up and hire some experts?

not sure....my comment was just based on it mostly feels like the board is higher on Ball than Ingram on a normal Tuesday.....and then I look through this thread, and a lot of influential users such as mods and long time active users do appear to prefer Ball....but still Ingram wins in a landslide. It's not a positive or negative, but it makes sense on why I or someone else may have wrongly assumed LG preferred Lonzo. The vote pretty much mirrors my thoughts on the players....as in I think Ingram is clearly the higher valued prospect, but I wrongly thought I was in the minority.

Not sure why you thought that?
Being in the Lonzo thread all year, one could tell it was a lot of hate.
The BI thread barely moves.

Im actually interested if it is BI love or Lonzo (including Lavar) hate that drives this vote.

like I said, I think it was because users like you, BVH, GT, and a handful of others are very active....been here a long time....more influential in the direction of the board than someone that may post 10 times one week, then be away for a month. Those "louder" voices (not sure how to describe, but its not meant to be a negative....I consider myself to have a somewhat "loud" voice on LG) made it appear one way to me.....but that does not effect 1 man/woman = 1 vote.

I rarely visit the Lonzo thread....and even less so the BI thread. There is always way too much passion (positive and negative) in the individual players threads. The only one I visited routinely was Clarkson's because I felt few others would defend him.

I think it's a short memory too. At the beginning of the season, Lonzo was the second coming and BI was trash to a lot of posters. No telling what opinions will be halfway through the next season. It's like the game threads, people gravitate from hate and despair to joy and pride (or vice versa) in a matter of minutes. It's just a snapshot of mood. I hope they both kick ass next year.
