Wagner should have had more run given that we were knocked out of the playoffs fairly early. The incompetence of the coaches and front office continues to cost us valuable time to develop our young players. Hopefully Mo contributes this coming year.

Needs to improve a lot this off season otherwise he won't be back. Ryan Kelly was better his 1st year and he didnt last long. Still dont understand why we didnt draft Robinson and re sign brook to be the starting 5.
Lopez/Robinson/Chandler > Mcgee/Chandler/Wagner

How fair is that when they were all coaching for their jobs? How many of the coaching staff is going to be brought back?

Working under Vogel + Kidd could be a huge opportunity for Mo if he isn't traded. There's a whole lot they could help him pick up and get better at between them... defense, PnR, screens, plays, etc. So I hope he's putting in the time to get stronger and keep himself in their plans. This could be a make or break kinda summer for him in a way.

So on the heels of today's article saying our scouting department wanted Omari Spellman. Who do you guys like better? Seems like he had more run with Atlanta at 17 minutes. 40%, not good, but 34% from threes. 4.2 boards at 17 minutes, not bad.

Both guys were overdrafted, imo. At this point both guys are low upside specialist bigs, so who really cares? Go with the guy who's repping P&G at the moment since there's no real difference.

Trudat. I always support our picks, but was curious if anybody here was high on Spellman prior to draft.

But if article is true, that Maginka pinned not drafting Spellman on Hart. True or not, Hart now has to make some phone calls to Spellman if they are buds. On top of him speaking against analytics and, "45 yr olds who never played basketball trying to coach me" speech. LOL! I fear my guy will definitely be packaged in any deal.

He's talking about snakes, and the guy who told this story is Pelinka. Man, he's gonna get traded. This org is a mess.

So what do we expect from this guy? Can he be good fit with AD? He better shoot 3 next year. With going top heavy we need him to perform

If hes higher than 9th in rotation we didnt do the job right. We still need some big performers before playoffs come

Not taking shamet or Robinson instead of Moe is going to sting this year big time. Either of those guys would be big bench contributors for us and give us serious boost in depth that we need.

We can only hope he can contribute a consistent 15mpg as an energy guy capable of hitting a couple 3pt shots while in the game.

Hopefully more Channing Frye then Mark Madsen.

Wagner needs to keep working on his 3 ball. If he can get it up to 35%, he would be useful as a stretch big with energy for 15 min. He can play two roles IMO. Either off the bench to give AD a breather. Or to start next to AD, so that AD does not get in foul trouble, and we can beat up on teams. This can allow Kuzma to come off the bench.

I doubt he'll play alongside Davis much, but he could be a perfect spacer next to him should they decide to go with bigger, traditional lineups. To be a backup 4/5, he has to improve his defense and provide rim protection. That will be the only way Vogel plays him.

Wonder what will happen to Wagner do they move him to create more cap-space?

Everyone knows it was Magic who picked him and the rest of the FO wanted to draft someone else (Spellman or Robinson). Luke was reluctant to use him at times last season.
