Interesting that he’s being used as a PF. Caruso is also in the lineup so it makes sense.

Although I would be more interested to see him play PG full time.

looks like they have Caruso listed as SF, and Joel Berry as PG

Good lord, he even hit a 3! South Bay has to put out a highlight clip.

Isaac Bonga - wow.

There was a time not long ago I would have expected Wagner to dominate G League games while Bonga struggles to score. My oh my how the tables can turn.

Bonga with 19 points on just 9 shots in only 21 minutes.

9 rebounds, 5 steals, 2 assists, and also 2 blocks.

Only 1 foul, only 1 turnover.

Either this kid has a learning curve steeper than Einstein, or Summer League was a COMPLETE FLUKE. For an 18 year old kid this guy can play ball.

Lamar Bonga out there balling lol. I thought it was going to be at least 2(possibly 3) years before this dude saw an NBA court for any significant amount of time, and now it’s looking like he might contribute next hear. Our scouting and development team is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth lolz.

*thumbs up*

Yeah, it's the g-league, but it's still impressive because he's 18 years old. Not too shabby.

Could be a solid contributor for the Lakers in 2 seasons. Maybe as early as next season.

Whenever the Lakers lose a game, I just remind myself how Bonga will lead the Lakers to 7 NBA titles.

All eyes are on Isaac Bonga as South Bay Lakers tip off season
"Isaac Bonga will continue his development with the South Bay Lakers this season, and there’s a lot to be excited about with the 18-year-old German."

Bonga is learning FAST. He's kind of too good for G-League. He should just use the time as skills development.

Mike -at- lg, I am surprised by your comment at Isaac Bonga. I thought you were initially not high on him?
