KCP had his ups and downs all year. I thought he came on nicely towards the end of the year (especially after his legal matters were resolved). He is a high energy player, a solid defender, and a streaky 3pt shooter. If he comes back it certainly won't be for $18 million. But would he get the start?
Hart had a solid rookie season. His 3pt shooting improved as the season progressed. He is also an above average rebounder (for his position) and a solid, hard-nosed defender. I've read that he has been working on his handles this summer as well, which is a pkus. At $1.65 million, he's a bargain. If his game has improved over the summer, he may have surpassed KCP skillwise.
X-factor: KCP is LBJ's boy. For my money, I hope Hart gets the start if PG13 stays in OKC. At his salary, Maginka can afford to really fill out the roster with the right pieces.

Lol. I live in a gigantic house (not mine) in the hills of Echo Park. I love it.
Anyway, I don’t see how this matters. Yeah, he has a place in Brooklyn, but he played in Philly last year, not with the Nets. And he’s already played for the Clips. |
