CP3
Zo
LBJ
Kuz
Randle

I won't even try to do the math - and certainly don't want to give him $200+ million - but if PG13 doesn't come to the Lakers, why not do a 4/100 deal with CP3 that lets us keep BI, Kuz, JR, etc.,?

You're keeping Ingram, but don't think he's starting material?

If Ingram stays, he starts. Only place that thinks otherwise is LakersGround

I’d save the max slot for next summer. Deng will be an expiring contract.

No way. I would not be surprised to see us sign PG and Lebron. Trade Deng, take no salary and sign CP3 for 5 million on a one year type deal. That would leave us room to sign Randle as well. Also offer Lopez the exception.

CP3/Lonzo
PG/Hart
Lbj/Ingram
Randle/Kuzma
Lopez/Zu

The only answer is yes. Money needs to step up.

Either Ingram or Kuz will have to come off the bench. LBJ can play the 4. My thinking is Ingram will be the perfect change of pace guy.

This is actually my worst case scenario.. I reallyyyyy hope this does not happen. CP3 is past the days he is worth 30+ million imo (especially on any kind of multi-year deal). With his yearly injuries now you can't count on him while taking that much of your salary cap. Guaranteed within 1-2 years of the ridiculous contract he would get we would be full of regret and have possibly the worst contract in the NBA.

Morey. Cp3 opted in to make that work. He needs to get paid.

I would do it just to take out a competitor. Then try to trade for Kawhi.

CP3
Ball
Kawhi
Lebron
TBD (BroLo?)

For a max, no freakin chance. If he wants to win one with the King, then maybe if the money is right.
