Players really start breaking out in their 3rd year. If George is better than Ingram next season...it wont be by much.
If we get to keep Randle too, even better. This is actually very good. |

Assuming our FO doesn't make the bonehead mistake of trading him for KL. Magic is smart, as a player and a businessman so I trust in him. _________________ LeGoat! LeMazing! LeGend! |

Really wish this kind of faith in him had been spout before George said no, back when everyone was screaming to trade Ingram for the still injured Kawhi for the past week and a half. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Huh? First of all, George didn't say no to us because we never got the chance to ask him.
Second of all, who is the "we" who didn't have faith in BI? The Lakers haven't said or shown anything of the sort. You mean some teenager fans? Who cares?
However ... I too agree that BI will be approaching PG's impact in the next year or 2 anyway, so it's not the end of the world that we didn't sign PG. |

Yes, PG did say no to us. There were plenty of back and forth going on - just look at all the 9:01 signings. It happens all over the place all the time.
But I will ride with BI - no problem with that. |

George said more than no.
He said "ya'll don't even get a meeting"

Seriously. All the PG love and people were quickly ready to get rid of BI, even though in all honesty, Paul's ability as a creator may be diminishing much quicker than expected. I've always been of the belief it's playoffs next year...stars or no stars. |

Enough minutes to go around?
Redundancy?
Plus in this scenario we keep Randle too. |

I've always been of the belief it's playoffs next year...stars or no stars. | I think it is playoffs without stars too, I think we are just desperate to compete though. I hope front office isn't desperate, if kids keep up their trajectory we could be good soon. BI with free throws is a 20 points scorer last season, if Lonzo can just get to 15 points average, and we re-sign randle we could be very good soon. Just hope front office knows this |

If only we could morph Hart's game and body into Ingram's height/length. Hart actually provides much of what George does, only George is 6-9 and Hart is listed at 6-5. |

Even that is doubtful. I think once the 2020’s roll around, we see if we have anything in Ingram. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Brandon Ingram 2nd year vs. Paul George 2nd year
Ingram 16.1 PPG 5.3 RPG 3.9 APG 0.8 STL 0.7 BLK
George 12.1 PPG 5.6 RPG 2.4 APG 1.6 STL 0.6 BLK
Wow... inconceivable that BI can ever be as good as PG...
If you go by age... the difference in BI's favor is even more pronounced. |
