McGee was an x-factor for the Warriors once Kerr finally moved him into the starting lineup. He's an X-Factor and a hype guy. I'm fairly certain that LeBron will work well with him and make him look very good. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I have a lot of bay area friends and they all tell me he has been wonderful for them. Not a great defender but serviceable and for short stints is a great rebounder, shot blocker and provides energy for the team.
The guy got solid minutes 2 years in a row for the championship team. It's a minimum signing...if he gives us a couple of lob catches, a block here or there and a long presence around the rim...he's MORE than worth it.
Yep at this price and for 10 minutes a game there's very little complaining to be doing here if any at all.

We'll still need another center because he can't play more than 15-20 minutes due to his asthma
Really hoping we keep Randle so randle can get those minutes _________________ Kobe

I'm already daydreaming about the Lonzo/Kawhi/Ingram/Lebron/Randle lineup on defense. That is going to shut down any perimeter offense.
For the vets min I cant complain. Will be interesting to see what guys like Noel,Amir Johnson and Lopez go for _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Love this move. I've been calling him one of the most underrated players in the NBA over the last two seasons. Great signing. Lance is a terrible signing tho.
Luke is even going to have a tougher job one we get Noel wrapped up today. If Noel figures it out, we could finally have rim protection (good to elite).
I've not followed him since his Washington days; I mean he's obviously no slouch to be on back to back championship squads (that team can pick whoever the hell they want filling the bench so I'm guessing he filled his role well). Is he still basically just a lob catcher/rim protector?
I see he shot like 60% to me so that says he's a DAJ sort of offensive player just feeding off lobs and putbacks?
1-year minimum deal. Not gonna trip over it. This is gonna be a helluva meme team though
Can't wait for the fast break in a tie game with Stephenson and McGee that ends with an around-the-back between-the-legs double-lob attempt off the backboard and into the fifth row.
<inhale> That's the sweet smell of basketball IQ... set on fire.

JaVale brings a defensive presence at the Rim. That's honestly hard to find in a legit big man. It seems we could have gone after Noel, but my guess is his past injuries may have come into play.
Plus JaVale has been around long enough to know who to ride with and obviously he's thinking about playing with LBJ.
Lance is pretty much the same type of player, because he will guard the best player on the opposing team if he has to.
I know from a character standpoint, these two guys may not cut it, but from a defensive/player standpoint, I feel we just got better. I'm hoping they've both matured enough to make a difference and be a strong supporting cast on this team. If you compare our players defensively to the warriors, who do you believe has the edge now?
Resigning KCP for the one year was huge IMO, it shows that we really want to have a defensive presence.
It's possible we could be getting prepared to make a big trade for Kawhi and IMO that's even more solidifies the point and emphasis on "DEFENSE".
Can't wait to see what the roster looks like when it's all said and done.

I really hope all of this is part of a bigger plan to get Kawhi.
I believe so, if you look at our Roster, we definitely have the assets to make it happen...
IMO it will be one of our young guys Either Ingram or an S&T with Randle, or could be both of them, coupled with some first round picks and Zubac.
There were rumors earlier that the Lakers were in discussion to take on some salary to have Denver help out, so maybe something like that is still a possibility.
All I know is that looking at the pickups since inking LBJ, it seems as though the emphasis is on defense. I'd hate to lose any of our young guys, but if that's what it will take to get another Superstar on board, then so be it!

I've got to believe Luke's biggest challenge is keeping Lebron happy. If he can do that, Lebron will make sure everyone else falls in line. If not, they're gone. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant

Yeap... Luke's biggest job is keeping LEGM happy.
LEGM has a history of being the GM + COACH + MR. Everything, rather than someone that is ideal for Luke's offense.
